NBA GM Draft RD12

Gonna have to wait on @miracle7s again.
Yea. I feel like if you know you don’t check the board a lot thoroughout the day (his profile suggests he does not) then you shouldn’t commit to these. I understand life happens, but some posters just don’t check the board as often as others. They may have better things to do, which is fine. Just don’t commit.

I took a rather controversial pick last time, getting Cardinal Mitchell. I made that pick because he, as well as Porzingis, were the best young players available, imo. This time, I’m taking two wildcats, because I feel the same about them. First up is Julius Randle, whose per 36 this year was 22pts and 11rebs, as he is improving each year. Next, give me Jamal Murray. In his second year, his per 36 was 19 pts a game on 45% shooting. I use the per 36, as both players are set to play that many minutes next year. Murray even played 32 this year.

if I end up on the clock this morning I probably wont get a pick in until 2 or 3 roughly, just a heads up for those waiting.

You need defense, they said. You need an interior presence, they said.

What about a 7-foot, 260-pound brute, that is one of the strongest, toughest, most physical players in the league?

What about a guy who is only 24 but is already a hardened veteran? What about a guy who has improved his rebounding and scoring numbers every year, averaging 14 and 9 this season on 63% shooting without needing a single play run for him?

What about one of the rare guys who averages a steal and a block from the center position?

What about a guy with a PER of 21 (just one point behind Embiid and Boogie) who shot 51% on shots between 10 and 16 feet this season? What about the teammate most respected by the game's fiercest competitor?

What about Steven Adams?
