This is an All-Time MLB Draft. 8 Position players... 4 Starting Pitchers.. 1 Closer (No Bench)

Objective: Head 2 Head which team wins in a best of 7 (World Series)

Rules
1. Babe Ruth and Shohei Ohtani can only be used as either a pitcher or position player.
2. Arguments are based on career averages (No 1 year wonders)
3. Serpentine Draft 1-12... 12-1

Note - we may get moved to Paddock... I hope not but if you don't see the thread check there.

Please keep track of your roster - I will not remind you that you've drafted 6 1st basemen.

You will have 6 hours to make your pick for the 1st two rounds then it will go to 4 hours. The dead period is 11 PM - 8 AM.

Quick Rule - Babe Ruth and Shohei Ohtani can only be used as either a pitcher or position player.

Any other suggestions please let me know before the draft starts. Would love to start tonight or tomorrow.

Last time or the one before, I can't remember, we were held hostage by 1 year wonders. Is there a way to limit that like using career numbers, not single season number, or something like that.

It was the last MLB draft.

I can make a rule that you must use the career average and can't pick any one season as a basis for your argument. Another option could be a 3 year average but not sure we want to keep track of that.
