Anybody TRULY concerned we will lose to awful South Carolina in Rupp Saturday?

I'm so unconcerned I still haven't looked at gametime yet. Hope Butler and Carr both play but its not a big matchup and beating S Carolina in rupp doesn't move the needle for me.

Kinda yes. They haven’t been getting blown out and we aren’t playing our best for sure. This is a huge game honestly. I wasn’t worried about Arkansas and that was a clusterF@ck.

I'm glad it's a home game. The Arkansas game was just a bad trap game. We had all the pressure on us, they had none and idiots booing just motivated them that much more. But never underestimate how teams raise their level of play when it comes to playing us, especially when they know we're vulnerable. I'm sure they will be jacked up and hitting on all cylinders. They've played some good teams close, I don't doubt this will be any different. If we lose this one, we could legitimately start considering ourselves on the verge of being a bubble team considering the strength of the league. Really need Butler and Carr back healthy. Butler is really the only thing we have resembling a defense. But I'm hoping for a win, we need something positive to get us out of this slump. We need a feel good game.

I am only concerned if USC banked in a 3. If a team banks a 3 in then that usually means an L. Hopefully the rumored fit Pope had in the locker room at Ole Miss will have a lasting effect on this team. Sad that a team of this many veterans would be so affected by the Arkansas game. This team seems to be very emotional. Get behind, heads down. Bad call, heads down. Team plays them physical, heads down.

Yeah I'm not a big moral victory guy but for the purpose of this thread, I found playing better than Ole Miss the final 20 minutes was a good thing going into this upcoming game at home.

The second half (despite poor defense) we appeared to remember how to move on the offensive end of the court.

2nd half vs Ark we scored around 34 then 31 in the first half vs Ole Miss..

I feel like we got back on the tracks in the 2nd half which should carry over for a weaker home game.

So I will take the moral victory for the 2nd half win. ✌️

South Carolina had both Auburn and Florida on the ropes and should have beat both. Keep that in mind.

Yes, a bit concerned. ALL of the pressure is on us (UK).
And there are no PASSES in the SEC this year!!!

USC may be 0-9 in SEC play, but...
- they beat Clemson (in Columbia) by 3
- Auburn barely pulled out a 3pt win in Columbia
- Vandy barely pulled out a 3pt win in Nashville
- TAMU only beat them by 4 in Columbia
- Miss St only beat them by 5 in Columbia
- Florida survived winning by 1 in Columbia (I think that was the only lead Florida had all game)

Do you see a pattern here, all of those close loses, (except one) was at home. They were blown out in their other three SEC ROAD games.
