NBA GM Draft RD12

There is way too much emphasis being put on this 2k simulation. If your team loses 20-5 in votes, 2k isn't helping you.

Cheesing the system because you know so-and-so has a hundred badges and 97 shot IQ has basically got some of you looking at the overall roster ratings and just going down the list picking players.

The end goal here is to win the voting. The simulation counts for like 10% of the votes. That means on average, 2-3 votes per matchup.
Well, good or bad for me, I know absolutely not one thing about 2k other than how to spell it.

I’ll have 2k sim over someone who votes like this.

TEAM A= 2 UK players
TEAM B= 1 UK player
Team A > Team B

Agreed, although now I'm afraid we might have just mixed the two. I like the idea of a sim as part of the vote, it just seems like some people forgot the voting part.

Certainly won't help if you're blown out. Also 2k simulations give you results you wouldn't expect a lot

Definitely. You can build a team of stars, run a season sim, go like 43-39, and lose in the first round of the playoffs. And that's before random injuries, etc.

Seems like probably half the time I have a serious injury (3-4 months) to a starter no matter their injury rating.

Nothing will ever be worse about it than The Show, though. Fantasy drafted, grabbed Francisco Lindor, and he had a career ending neck injury about 60 games in.

Looked thru draft classes and Knox and SGA aren't even in them so don't count on drafting those guys

For instance after I played 1 season with giannis his 3 went up to a C+. In another sim itvwent down to a D-. It'll be interesting nonetheless

Don't feel like it's inherently right to be able to look at the ratings of players who can be drafted. Not everyone can see them.

I was actually wondering about that and no, it's a cheat and I would hope everyone would avoid info not available to everyone.

Go download them on 2k not that hard. Just don't draft Knox or SGA Bc I'm not creating the players

I based my decisions off of 2k instead of opinions. Didnt want to but had to. If a player has a high injury rating for example he will be out constantly on 2k. Their injuries suck qss.

I think it should be two different drafts all together. The winner of the raw vote goes against the winner of 2k simulations. Then that series is a mix.

But I didn't create this Rupp Rafters draft thing years ago so I bow to the creator, Runt, and hope he leads us straight.

I'll definitely be keeping a talley both ways.
