I've missed on a lot of guys I really thought would still be available as well. I agree on griffin and the injuries, Luckily I don't think most voters will factor in injuries. I think the name recognition with blake will help a lot too.

I'm not sure I follow that logic. Booker's floor is waaaaaaaaay below Klay. Klay is a top-3 all-time 3 point shooter. If not for his teammate he would have the record for 3pm in a season. And he's not slowing down and time soon. Also Klay is a great defender, Booker isn't quite there on that end.

I think the age difference is the only difference in talent at the moment. I could also argue it is because of the greatness of Curry of why Klay is beasting. Booker has no body at the moment to keep defense off of him.

I love Klay so I'll stop there.

Id be curious to see Klay Thompson as the man on a team. No doubt he has talent on both ends of the floor but Booker shows klay like abilities on offense while being a focal point once he started blowing up and still couldnt be stopped. I think his ceiling, on offense at least, is higher than KTs

Be objective. They're both lightskinned shooters with similar size. But there isn't a single area where Booker is even as good as Klay, much less better. And Klay is only 26.

Go back to the Brad Beal debate. That one is at least close. Cause Booker guards no one and doesn't create offense for anyone but himself.

He's a baby, and he's a scorer, but this place crucifies a few other guys who are mega young and give you 20+ a night with no defense. Keep it in perspective. He's not Klay Thompson.

And I love Book. Love him. But I love Doron Lamb too and he's not the shooter Klay Thompson is.

He's top 5. The guy makes like 250 3's a year and shoots like 43%. It's the quickest, most compact release I've ever seen. And when you factor in that he's doing it while guarding at an All Defense level, it's pretty insane.

The only guy who is for sure a better shooter is Steph, but Klay doesn't take as many bad shots. Folks will say Ray Allen and Reggie, but my eyes and the stats tell me he's as good or better as a shooter.

I don't think Kerr and Korver belong in the conversation just because they didn't shoot under the same circumstances.

And Bird just played such a different style game and was such a superior player in other ways that it's hard to compare. Like you can't separate the legend and aura of Larry Bird from just him as a shooter.

Idk man bird was a sure shooter from anywhere on the floor. I think he deserves consideration

Oh for sure. I'm just saying I don't know how you judge when the game was played so differently. Like is Drew Brees a better QB than Fran Tarkenton? Who's to say, because the style of play has changed so much it skews the stats.

So how does KT jump to top 3 I know they bomb threes now and his percentage is high, but there's got to be something said about creating a shot with eyes on you. KT is 3rd option maybe 4th on GS rn. No top 3pts shooter will ever be a 3/4 option on a team imo

Normally, no. But when you have two of the top 5 players in the league right now in steph and Durant, two sure fire hall of famers, it deminishes you a bit.

I had him last year and he barely moved the needle for me. All he did was go out and make the All-Star team. Good pick. He was going to be my 4th round take.
