Ah I see I honestly was going to pick Beal... but Booker did score 70 this season "WOW" also I think he has higher upside due to Beals constant injuries.
Beal is no joke though trust me I was gonna pick him but Booker too good and a UK stud
I can see where you'd think that, since he's better in every facet of the game and just turned 24, but you'd be wrong.

I really thought I'd be picking Joker or the Stifle Tower this round. That was in part because I didn't think there was a chance CJ McCollum would still be on the board.
I can't believe that both Beal and Booker went before him. I mean Booker I can partly understand. He did drop 70 this year..... and Cayts. I think McCollum is the best of that group so I will gladly grab him here.
He's only 26. He's shot over 40% from 3 the last 2 years and approaching 200 3pm while splitting the backcourt with another elite guard. You can never have too many shooters.

Haha, yeah. I think it's reasonable to project Booker over Beal long-term, but far from a given. Booker going before Beal in this setting wasn't a shocker.

He hadn't been picked. That was sent as it was considered a surprise he was taken so early, I'm assuming.
Yup. You were ahead of the curve on that one. At the time I only knew him as the kid from Lehigh that beat Duke.
That's why I chose to heckle this year instead of draft.
Put a lot of time and research into those unappreciated picks.

Plus there's no way guys like Curry or Westbrook or Harden are better than KAT and Boogie.
I get it. I'm just going to call it like it is. They can be my favorite players but it doesn't mean I can't criticize the pick objectively. I'm a Lakers fan but LeBron is better than Kobe. Same principle.
Especially when the point of this whole thing is to build the best team. We're supposed to debate the teams. That's the fun of it.
The criticism is going a little overboard. There a 4 former cats that are legit franchise building blocks. Not everyone gets a shot to draft Durant and Steph.

And yeah, the criticism is going to go overboard. Nobody has mentioned that my team leader actually doesn't have vocal cords, but I'm not going to argue against myself.
I completely understand the uk bias on this site. KAT absolutely would be in the discussion with russ, harden and steph in a future based type draft like this imo.
I thought about taking Booker with my 2nd pick. Because.... votes. But also because I wanted Klay and Booker is a poor man's Klay. On the other hand he's definitely young and his career could go in a number of different directions.
I think only one former Cat has been picked too early. The rest have been in a reasonable range.
Booker got 70. I agree he may be klay light but Booker got 70. My favorite player Kobe Bean Bryant got 81. I'm a fan... thrilled to get Book in the front end of round 3. His floor is Klay Thompson his ceiling may be Ray Allen.
Michael Jordan never got 70 in a game. Just saying.. (no he's not MJ) but I do believe he will be a hall of famer. Every guy that's scored 60 in a game that's retired is in the hall. Let alone 70.
Same. I saw jokic go by and I decided it would be gobert. Then gobert left and I went to whiteside lol. It was between him and griffin whos health i dont trust even tho hes a beast when he can play. Ive yet to get my first choice through 3 picks. Lets see if I can get who I want on my 4th pick.
