I don't believe it is this season. ESPN says the search wasn't supposed to end until after the year. This year?
A Duke page on X, not verified says he is supposed to remain there through the end of the season. This year?
ACC is garbageI caught some of the Miami game today before UK came on. Had to laugh at the terrible teams in the ACC. 6-21 Miami and they faced 12-15 Virginia Tech.
Which is odd to see considering it was the most successful conference in basketball for decades.ACC is garbage
As I recall he’s considered primarily a recruiter, maybe it will hurt Duke’s recruiting some?Well.....Duke just improved. He's one of the more overrated AC in the sport. Now he'll be Miami's problem.
He was considered that because he can't coach/is a major disappointment regarding player development. The Lucas name from his family got him a rep he doesn't possess in terms of player development and Duke moving on from him is going to strengthen them. We'll see who they hire but I'd assume their recruiting will improve. Nobody they've gotten while he's been there is a result of him being a strong recruiter. The kids they landed they'd have landed if Wojo was still on their Staff. LOLAs I recall he’s considered primarily a recruiter, maybe it will hurt Duke’s recruiting some?
No one knows yet. AP says a contract hasn't been finalized.Curious what they pay him starting out as a first time head coach at an ACC school like Miami.
If I had to guess, it would be in that $2 - $3 million range.Curious what they pay him starting out as a first time head coach at an ACC school like Miami.
Does Lunardi have them last 4 in or next four out?I caught some of the Miami game today before UK came on. Had to laugh at the terrible teams in the ACC. 6-21 Miami and they faced 12-15 Virginia Tech.
I don’t see why he is so highly regarded and keeps getting raises like this.
