I'm not going to lie I would celebrate forever if this team came out and napalmed those pricks in the most brutal fashion possible. Id love to see them call the bs fouls on us yet still not be able to keep up with our three-point shooting. Burn them, and piss on their remains.

Zach Geoghegan mentioned Ryan is dropping a top 6 soon and said UK isn’t expected to be on the list. Zach said he had been told kentucky isn’t out of it entirely but they’re behind the pack

The Big East tournament is setting up for a Semifinal that could be a play in for a 2 seed should (3) Marquette meet (2) Creighton. Villanova is a team that has some good wins but may be on the outside of the bubble right now. For Kentucky to get a 2 seed, they probably have to jump Creighton and Marquette. The only way that happens is if Kentucky gets to the conference final and neither Marquette or Creighton does. Luckily Villanova is a desperate team, but also a team capable of winning a few games. They also play DePaul for the right to play Marquette so that should be a formality. If Villanova beats Marquette, then Creighton and Kentucky takes care of business in getting to the Final that should bump UK up to the 2. Go Wildcats!!

Do you actually think any of those 3 want UK in their region ? I doubt it very much. Absolutely no one has the guards we have, no one.

Assuming the top 8 are set with Purdue, Yconn, Houston, Tenn, UNC, Zona, Iowa st and Marquette….cant see UK jumping anyone there. So then it’s Duke, Baylor, Creighton, Illinois, and UK fighting for the 3 seeds. Might be tough to crack that 3 line.

With all the complaints about the last minute of our game, I went back and watched it several times. The whole narrative of 8 points in 40 seconds is misleading.

After DJ hit two FT's, with 55.6 seconds left in the game, Zieglar comes down and hits a quick 3. Edwards was playing soft on D.

On the next play, Reed falls and Zieglar picks up the ball, scores and gets a FT.

UT has now scored 6 points in 8.5 seconds to cut the lead to 5.

In the final 47.1 seconds, we had 2 turnovers (which were bad) but gave up only 2 points. We scored 1 on a FT.

5) For whatever reason, Barnes and Co. forgot that when playing sUcK late in the season it's your five against their eight. It wasn't so much the fouls that were called as it was the times the zebras swallowed their whistles. Seemed every time Tennessee drove the lane, the UT shooter wound up on the floor. If Kentucky's football team had hit like that they'd have been undefeated.

If you wanna bow down to Kentucky, go right ahead. Were a better program than them atm, period. Ain’t coming off that stance


For my sanity, did anybody else notice Sheppard take like 12 steps on an inbound pass there at the end? It wasn't off a made basket. They had just inbounded and called timeout. 28" left on shot clock. How did they miss this???


When it's UT vs bama and/or UK, I think it's safe to say it wasn't "missed". Overlooked, ignored are more appropriate terms

It's the hardest loss for me to take. Mercenarial program with some local fans that only talk about them when they are really good. Basically local bandwagon fools.

This is why we dont deserve to be a #1 seed. #1 seeded teams shouldnt drop games like this, USC, and Texas A&M.

A couple of these folks are people who grew up in the sticks of rural TN. There is no connection to their program they just think it makes them look cool when UK is really good.

There are always a couple top shooters and overall scorers in the Portal -- think Knecht last year.

How can any offensive star watch Kentucky's game tapes and possibly go anywhere else? Style yourself like Dilly, or Reed or Edwards or Reeves? Here are three games to watch closely.

Throw in the #2 recruiting class and whoever comes back...Man the future is bright.

I might cry when he retires. He’s a delight. Still a great commentator even with his age, and unlike Dickie V, he had the sense to take a notch or two off his antics with age. He’s about as unbiased as they come and always seems to be excited to be watching and commentating on basketball as a whole.

Who’s going to fill his shoes?

PS, people have noted that he might get a thing or two wrong during his calls, but when you have to search through dozens of years of ball on a national level, that’s a pretty easy thing to do.
