I don’t know what’s going on with this dude, but when he was on the court he made winning plays. I believe he made just one poor play - giving up an and-1, and Cal pulled him. Outside of that, he hit the open three, drove strong to the rack, drove baseline and found open guys, which put their defense in rotation. He was great and Cal needs to find 25 minutes for him.

that defense really matters. Look only at last night's loss. When you have little boys playing college basketball, who have never played defense prior for long periods of time, against upperclassmen you get beat.

Most of these young kids are soft and when the going get rough they start looking for someone else to take charge. A few years after they go pro they've learned how to play like a man, get tough or go home. This absolutely has to be the softest bunch that I can ever remember at UK. Lastly, these young players don't seem to understand the name on their jersey, like they used to.

I'm afraid that we're closer to becoming another Indiana than some might want to admit. I'm sure that 20/30 years ago that the IU fans would have never dreamed that their program would be this bad for this long. If it happened at IU it could happened here...... And considering that

1. Since 2019 UK has a grand total of 1 NCAA tournament win
2. Haven't won a national championship in 12 years
3. Haven't been to the Final Four in 9 years
4. Haven't been to the Sweet 16 in 5 years
5. Haven't been a 1 seed in almost a decade

Remember him shutting down Nick Stauskas? Now we have a team full of 5-stars and outside of Ugo, there isn’t anyone on this team that is even half the defender that a 6-1’ kid from Madison Central was. Sad.

Stubborn-ass coach won't learn his lesson. You foul up three well inside 10 seconds so they have little or no chance to win, and why is Reed taking the ball out on the last possession in regulation? One of the worst, end-of-game coaches, and cannot recognize (St Peter's) that when an opponent is playing above their heads, you have to be flexible enough to know how to win at the end.

Just glanced at the remaining regular season schedule and 10 losses is now a possibility. We still have to face Alabama who is playing as well as anyone in the SEC, Tennessee at home this Sat, go to Auburn and Tennessee plus a out of conference home game versus Gonzaga. There is also the possibility of a clunker at either Vandy or LSU. It will be extremely hard for anyone rational to excuse 10 losses with this much talent on the roster.

The mixing and matching of the lineups are hurting this team. You cannot play Ugo Bradshaw and Edwards all 3 together it just won’t work.

Also the rotation needs to be cut down to these players

You cannot convince anyone else should receive playing time because they simply shouldn’t. Have a set rotation and stick to it, start guys who can actually play and stick to it. Stop playing players that cannot contribute to this team.

I realize he has been a liability on defense, but he has played the ENTIRE 45 minutes and had to run down Headband dude.

But allowing Dillingham to JACK UP shot after shot then let him shoot the FT's up 2 was BEYOND ridiculous!!!

Then you throw in letting Mitchell keep shooting when he couldn't BUY one, and you have why this team can't win when they REALLY need to!!!

Was hoping to wake up and see a Calipari resignation. What a dumb ass hope.

I was thinking, call up Jimmy Boeheim and get him to consult on a zone. But as I was thinking, it occurred to be that the same problems we have on m2m would be the safe deficiencies we would have in a zone. A zone is essentially a soft m2m, sagging and semi-floating. Well, that's basically what's getting our m2m in trouble. Nobody can stay on their man, which leads to too many open looks. Our guys just don't pride in locking someone down. This is really odd for a Cal team. I don't know if this is ultimately on the coach(s) or the players, but it will be why this team doesn't make it past opening weekend. In short, it's easy to want to try a zone, but it wouldn't do a lick of good, IMO. Opponents would still get too many open looks.

Same thing the past 5 years. He’s got the most talented team in college basketball and will finish with another 6 seed. Won’t even finish top 4 in conference play. Please pack your ****. Continuing to support him just enables. We’re barely a top 35 program the last 5 years.

Are we gonna have everyone tonight? Haven’t seen anything and I don’t understand. We could very well lose tonight if we don’t come with it and this week could turn out really bad.
