Do think there is some hope for this country when liberal states (polling) are not happy with the job Biden is doing. Then add in the increase in crime which is now making the suburban women not feel as safe plus their children being used as political pawns by school boards. Show me a country that doesn't have warts. EVERY country has it's own list of atrocities or bad historical moments. Does that stop them from espousing loyalty and honor to their Country? Do they demonize their flags? We are the only country still trying to punish our people for the sins of their forefathers and events that happened hundreds of years ago.
When people visit the Coliseum in Rome, they go there, take their selfies and admire it for this piece of amazing Roman architecture. They don't go there to sit in silence and honor those who were fed to the lions in front of roaring crowds in that building. Do Italians demonize their flag and tell kids they shouldn't be proud of their country over those historical atrocities?
When people visit the Aztec ruins, they take their smiling selfies on the the steps. Do they realize heads use to roll down those steps? We could go on for days about all the atrocities the world has experienced, but that is history and countries build from it. They don't use it as a deterrent to building loyalty, pride and honor to their country.
