Lot of guys from gang neighborhoods join the military. Most gangs will actually send people to the army to get trained in something or to get access to something. Military needs to be better at identifying tattoos from what i've been told.
When I joined the Air Force, they looked at my ink and said,

"Sir, what set you from?"

I played dumb, and got:

"Gen-uh-rul POP-u-LAAAY-SHUN"

(apologies to Ice Cube) (saw him last year in Cincy BTW, at the Hard Rock, and it was a fantastic show)

Admittedly, I have done ZERO research on the matter. But I can't fathom what the huge challenge is, and why states (like Kentucky) continue to go years and years with asking for extensions on the timeline.

Would it be so complicated to simply force conversion to Real IDs with all new driver's licenses, and with all renewals when licenses expire? It seems full implementation could be achieved (slowly over time) by simply hardwiring it into the normal processes. What am I missing?
Andy is busy trying to get into national politics.

Yes, Nazare's Canyon

Yeah, he probably felt it starting to rain on him when that thing started to break, and he absolutely BEAT it out of there. That wave looks like something out of a nightmare. Those veins, from all the power it was pulling up were freakish. Bowling ball sized testicles to tow into that.
I wouldn't feel good on a ship, anywhere near that.
Respect.

I’m not naive enough to believe our soldiers have never broken the law or been involved in some bad shit. But this? Under the control of foreigners?

It can’t be said enough: if you’re a Democrat and you voted for these open borders (and you did by default), you are too stupid to function. Every right should be stripped from you for being so dumb. Go away from us and never come back.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.
Don't do it.
Don't go to bed with no price on your head.
No, no
Don't so it.

I got my READ ID about 7 yrs ago....I've already had to Renew it....but honestly it was easier to get my Passport than the Read ID....crazy about of info they ask for. But no excuse for those who waited this long

This is a second hand story that was shared with me and I cannot validate the authenticity. Supposedly an aircraft carrier had some gang type personnel make a weight training room their personal crib and did not allow outsiders to use the facility when they were present. The captain was unable to maintain control with his MAA staff. He used personal contacts to obtain assistance from UDT Seals in San Diego to come aboard and rectify the situation. This was supposedly done while keeping it under wraps from going up the chain of command. Someone with carrier experience may be able to explain this as total bs, but I can see the rationalization for a cover up if this were true.

So dangerous. If his pack fails, he's going down fast. And the sharks will get him.
That is why there is a gunners mate with a rifle stationed on the mast in the event of a man overboard.

But, it's not likely that he can kill a shark with a rifle in time to save a man overboard.

He won't be aiming for the shark.

There is a reason that Federal Penitentiaries removed free weights from the "yard"

Guys were getting too "jacked" for the guards to handle. Pretty much just eating canned tuna from the commissary (best protein they could get) and lifting for hours a day.

If you like Guy Ritchie/British Mob movies etc. and you're not watching MobLand on Paramount Plus, then you need to. It's fantastic.

This is gonna sound REALLY weird, but Sandra Bernhard, back in the day, had an extremely "odd" sex appeal. I know, I know... I get it. But she did. It's one of those things that once you've said it, and it's out there, you almost immediately regret it. 🤣 🤣 🤣

I guess it's a Tiger Woods/trashy attraction type deal. LOL
It was the size of her mouth.
It creates a geometry (math) problem regarding volume in your mind.

Was hoping to keep this under wraps, but it sounds like there is a leak and so I want to get out in front of it.

I'm the major source for the UK Basketball NIL money, not Toyota.

The last thing I wanted was for this to get out.

Here's the deal:

I thought I was only paying 2000 dollars to the fund, but vhcat70 is my accountant, and the dummy added 4 zeros to it, because he sucks at math, and now I'm on the hook for 20 million.

As it is with all ponzi schemes.... can't keep paying out dividends without new people paying into the kitty.

Tariffs and turning the social security input system into a fund that is reinvested for optimal growth of the money is the only possible strategy, BUT without eliminating gross overspending and legislated abuse of citizens' money that will not work. There has to be both a govt budget surplus and a reduction in wasted fraud, and abuse. There has to be a culling of international gifts to foreign nations. There has to be a strong manufacturing base her that will allow us to be self-sufficient in every way.

None of that happens without some pain and tightening of belts for many people that aren't prepared for it.

The only problem with investment is that eventually corrupts too. Iirc Kentucky saw that when beshear sr invested the retirement fun with some pals who weren't even really legit and lost a ton. That in addition to borrowing against it too because the state was run by dems for 100+ years at that point.

Haven’t posted in this thread in weeks.. maybe months. I stopped posting on here since no one on here wants to do anything other than hear how great Trump is. And this dude tried to dunk on me blaming the FSU shooter on the left. Funny how that turned out not to be true in the end. Nice try though.

Horribly sad that the story just disappears as usual. Same nonsense from both sides every single time and nothing gets done. We just move on. But that was always going to the case after all those poor kids in Uvalde were blown apart and everyone was just like “cool, thoughts and prayers, let’s all move on”.

Next time get your facts straight @UKBrassowTipIN

Now show the same outrage for Jocelyin Nungary, Laken Riley, etc etc, etc.

Kinda sad day today. My brother in law just moved from Clearwater to Albuquerque NM for a new job. His new wife is from there. But that takes away our annual vacations down there. I guess if I wanna go now I have to actually pay for a hotel or some shit. Going to Albuquerque this summer now. Think we can do about all Albuquerque has to offer in the few days we’ll be there. Lol.
The Sandia cable car thing is pretty cool.

I traveled on business to ABQ 4+ times a year for 5 years or so. Can't believe >750k people live in that city. Consistently one of the worst crime-ridden cities in America. Brutally hot in the summer and very, very dry. If you like brown desert landscapes, have at it - I don't. One person I worked with in ABQ asked me early on if my car had been broken into and I said, 'No'. She said, 'Then you really haven't been in ABQ very long.' Surprisingly, I didn't find many good Mexican restaurants even after multiple referrals from locals. I eventually ended up eating at chain restaurants most of the time rather than locally owned ones.

Went up to Sante Fe a couple of times - thought it was wildly overrated. Many ABQ folks told me how beautiful and quaint, etc. it was. It's pretty, way up in the mountains. But, I've been in 15 similar towns in Colorado that are just as beautiful, just as quaint, just as amazing scenery. I guess for New Mexico it's unusual and stunning. It's very average compared to Steamboat, Breck, Vail, Aspen, et al.

At one point, my company floated the possibility of relocating me to ABQ to open a branch office, pay raise, etc. I quickly nixxed that thought. I had no intention of living there and the Denver area has a ton of problems (which is why I moved away last year) but it's miles ahead of Albuquerque, imo.

What a shock.
Seems you have selective shock. Don't recollect your bosom buddy Trump going to France/Italy/Vatican City causing you shock. Nor Ivanka going to Costa Rica. Nor Rubio going all over the world. Strange emotions you have.

BTW, traveling to other countries opens one's eyes to their ways of living/culture/thinking. Helps overcome narrowmindedness.

I thought if you showed a passport that it reduced the number of things you need.

I worked there for a summer and really enjoyed it. This was 2009-ish. I didn't do the nightlife / food scene, but spent a lot of time hiking and running.
  1. Drinking and driving is a HUGE problem there. Probably tied to the native population.
  2. The reservations are a disaster.
  3. Meth was a BIG problem
I think it's a beautiful area. I like the western look. Santa Fe is for old hippies.
