Lol that literally means nothing.Ted would have been a reasonable top 3 pick maybe. But, in his only world series he hit a disappointing .200 with only a single RBI.

I think it actually has a lot of value in this draft. The goal is to win a 7 Game World Series. I took Aaron over Williams because Hank’s Postseason stats were much better.Lol that literally means nothing.
I guess I should have said that for me, that literally means nothingI think it actually has a lot of value in this draft. The goal is to win a 7 Game World Series. I took Aaron over Williams because Hank’s Postseason stats were much better.
That’s the guy. I thought it would go Ruth, Mays, Williams at the start.
wow . . . Never knew that. Just awful setback. Curse of the Bambino. How unfortunate for him to get pegged in the elbow before the World Series and likely not be your normal self early on- and workouts prior.

I don't know if this has been answered already, but of the 8 position players drafted, do we need to draft based on position?
@UKNorse should answer this. He posted more info in the original thread. I personally intend to draft by position, although outfielders may cover other outfield spots. I will draft a 2nd baseman, a 3rd baseman, etc. . . pretty sure that is the desired method.I don't know if this has been answered already, but of the 8 position players drafted, do we need to draft based on position?
A better replyYou're fielding a team that competes in 7 game series.
No but you'll likely be judged on it.I don't know if this has been answered already, but of the 8 position players drafted, do we need to draft based on position?
Well shit . . . solid . . . I've got a conf. call at the top of the hour. Give me a bit. Took my pick.
My first ever favorite player as a Cardinals fan. Good pick3 complete game wins in 1967 WS.

28 complete games of 34 starts, 1968.
2 world series titles in 3 world series appearances.

That was my coin flip.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
That was my coin flip.
lol well Clemons was mine but I’m cool with it. Don’t have to face the public on his steroids lol
Quick question:
For the closer position, are we going to be drafting relief pitchers only for that role or could it be a starter as well?
Maddox & Clemens we the best 2 I’ve seen. Good picks for sure.
Sorry, brother. I’ve been at the doctor and running errands with the wife all damn evening. I’ve made my pick. Getting close to my quality time now.@Cowtown Cat you’re up, big guy
You’re good, brother! Just didn’t think you had noticed. I wasn’t getting notifications for this thread at one point. Hope all is well with the doctor appointment. Soon as my son falls asleep my quality time should ensue, as wellSorry, brother. I’ve been at the doctor and running errands with the wife all damn evening. I’ve made my pick. Nothing like some good quality time. Yeah, had to go get some new slides and her some new flip flops after said appointment. Our dog ran over my slide on one of our walks yesterday. Then, I’ll be damned if she didn’t step on the same exact slide later on and broke the damn thing. You’re good, brother! Just didn’t think you had noticed.
