Just search whoever you’re curious about in the search bar and it will show if they were drafted in this threadIs Robin Yount still on the board? I dont trust my own eyes anymore to double check the list lol. If so, theres my starting SS.

Mr. Cano is one of the best compensated athletes in pro sport. But that did not stop him into duping the mother of his child to going back home to Dominica to have the baby. This was a gold mine for Mr. Cano, who got by for the longest time paying a paltry 600 a month child support. You read that correctly. He fought tooth and nail to prevent it from being raised against him. But several years ago, 2013 or 14 timeframe, a judge in that crap hole island country ruled in favor of what Mr. Cano had been fighting, by doubling the child support to 1200 per month. Oh, the horror. Mr. Cano has a beautiful mansion in Dominica. His son has grown up down the road, outside the protected gated community in squalor. Also, because the child was born in Dominica, Mr. Cano has the legal authority to prevent the mother from taking his son out of the country, to the US. He exercises this authority.Aroldis Chapman could be closer. And didn't Robinson Cano do something?
I take it you’re not a fan of Mr. CanoMr. Cano is one of the best compensated athletes in pro sport. I have a favorite baseball team and watch the games (normal years). But if they trade for this dirt-bag I will boycott them untill he is gone and ever person in front office management who made the decision to bring him on is gone.
The only people who could possibly be a fan of Cano are people who find sport in child neglect / abuse.I take it you’re not a fan of Mr. Cano
Ok, so those are his good points. No need to talk him up and give folks a good impression. Go ahead and list his bad qualities too.Mr. Cano is one of the best compensated athletes in pro sport. Much easier to search thru "find in page". I don't trust my eyes with that many names.Im reading the OP lists twice, i swear.
I gotta go to work. Yall are gonna have to wait until 6 or so for my pick.
Yea. The pick before you missed twice and now said it will be until 6 or so, so I see no problem with you picking if @UKNorse doesn’t, and then he just pick up when he gets timeI am?
The SS that have been taken are Arod, Jeter, H. Wagner, Banks, Ripken, Larkin, Yount and Ozzie Smith.Im reading the OP lists twice, i swear.

A couple of Joe tidbits per Bill James. Joe wasn't very smart (and some say that's how he got messed up in the scandal) and could neither read nor write. When he would go out to eat with the guys, since he couldn't read the menu, he'd wait till the others ordered and choose something one of them had ordered. The numbers this man put up were so good that it's almost cartoonish. His career batting average (.356) is the 3rd highest in the history of baseball. He had a better than 1.000 OPS 5 times. In one 3 year stretch, he compiled 656 hits, stole 102 bases and hit .393. In his last season, before he was banned for something he didn't do, he hit .382 and set a career high in HRs and RBIs. If the MLB hadn't wrongfully stolen the rest of his career he would have been a first round pick in this draft.
"He was the finest natural hitter in the history of the game." Ty Cobb
"I copied his style because I thought he was the greatest hitter I had ever seen, the greatest natural hitter I ever saw. He's the guy who made me a hitter." Babe Ruth
"Jackson's fall from grace is one of the real tragedies of baseball. He was more sinned against than sinning." Connie Mack
With the steal of the draft, I'll take "Shoeless Joe" Jackson.
Give an 8x Gold Glove Winner. One of the best fielders I have ever seen who also hit a respectable 393 home runs. A left-hander is something I need as well. Jim Edmonds. @quest4#9
damnedest play I've EVER seen
Probably my favorite catch. It’s the Willie Mays catch on steroids. The degree of difficulty is off the charts. I liked Gary Matthews Jr’s catch a lot too. But, Edmonds seemingly made plays like this nightly.
Just bought the OOTP game.... hope its worth it. I'll let everyone know if I can figure out how to run simulated seasons with customer lineups..
was $40 so everyone here owes me at least $2
From some of the reading I was doing, I think it was made easier in later versions? My version was two years old.
Were you guys just voting for who won before?
Because if a simulation kind of thing occurred, I think you could make an argument for a simulated full season or a tournament setup.
That's what you get for trying to cut my draft window shortGot dammit. That was who I had decided on and figured no one would grab him. Back to the drawing board...
The vote is who would win a 7 game world series. Not sure if you could set that up but I wonder if I could set up a 16 team league and see who would make playoffs and win it all... wishful thinking likely lol
You’re right lol. I’m sorryThat's what you get for trying to cut my draft window short
I didnt know the search feature worked that way for threads. I will definitely be using it for future picks. Thanks for the tip guys.

It wouldnt have bothered me t all I didnt want to be the guy holding things up, especially after two whiffs. Thats why I thought on it in the shower before work and hopped back on. Keep the train rolling. You’re right lol. I’m sorry
Looking back I was wrong for saying that. I do apologize. However, you really did get the guy I wanted, so now were even lol. I have another picked out and if he gets taken I’m resigningIt wouldnt have bothered me t all I didnt want to be the guy holding things up, especially after two whiffs.
