OT top 5 teams in the NFL

Both of those games are in Detroit. Lions have already beaten the Vikings. Detroit is tough at home. I just think Goff is the better QB and their two headed monster at RB is the leagues best. Jefferson and St Brown cancel each other out. I'll give Jameson the nod over Addison though. Not really ragging on the Vikings though. Both teams are really good. I just think the Lions are better.
Darnold threw for 330 yds and 2 TDs and zero ints in the OT win in Chicago, including a phenomenal drive from deep in Vikings territory to lead the Vikes to the winners circle when all seemed lost.
Darnold’s numbers are neck and neck with Goffs after 11 games. Go to NFL.com and check it out.

What a STOOPID PLAY CALL!!!

Good god man. If you benched every player on offense when they have protection issues, you would have to bench the entire OL, including the Center and both TE's.

Wilcox is obviously in CMS doghouse and I have a pretty good idea why he is.
I didn't suggest benching Wilcox I merely pointed out he has protection issues. I realize that doesn't fit well with what some people who just want to see more of him streaking down the field, but if you watched the game you could clearly see on one play that he missed a blitzing linebacker that resulted in the QB getting driven into the ground. A free running blitzer is an entirely different thing than a D-lineman who has managed to defeat the block of an O-lineman.

OTOH DSK is extremely good at picking up the blitz. Wilcox is a outstanding talent but he needs to work on his protection responsibilities - that's all I'm saying. Those kind of mistakes can result in game killing TOs or injured an QB.

Ansley Almonor Quote Post-JST

Probably. It’s no hate to the kid though. I think he provides great effort. Both he and Almonor rank with lowest defensive rating out of our guys in the rotation. They both rank lower than Perry and that’s saying something, as defensive rating tends to favor bigs over guards.

Worth noting small sample size and therefore numbers should be taken with grain of salt but those two guys would be hard to play together in more than a short spurt
What is Kriisa’s defensive rating … just curious ??

I said stupid shit about duke beating UK, but I owned it. I for sure didn’t come on here and say the bs media narrative to protect Duke and scheyer, and then follow that up by saying Kentucky is barley a top 20 team and over ranked.

Hamdan offense

Jury is still out on Hamdan IMO. At times his play calling is puzzling and predictable, at many other times his calls the right play but the execution isn't there. You have to remember Hamdan also called the plays that Boley ran which everyone seems to be please about. Another thing is Hamdan is also the QB coach. He has apparently brought true freshmen Boley along far enough that he is now a serviceable, hey maybe a very good SEC QB.

Frequent OC changes have been detrimental towards the development of an offense. If possible it would be advantageous to get some continuity.

You're absolutely not wrong but you will get no traction whatsoever with reasonable takes on a site filled with so much sunk cost fallacy.
This absolutely cannot be a serious post. So you’re telling me you read OP’s original message and thought it was logically sound enough to merit an antagonistic defense? You sir, also are on my “don’t trust this person’s film evaluation” list.

Does Brea have a chance to have the highest 3FG percentage in ncaa history?

Butler has decent form too, I think he can shoot a good percentage if he takes good shots.
Exactly. People gotta remember SDSU played at an absolute snails pace and their offense was NOT designed in a way that increases your shooting efficiency. That Keshad Johnson kid left there and the next year had insane numbers. I’m never upset with Butler pulling an open 3.

Such a breath of fresh air…

To not always have someone sitting due to (alleged) injuries. It seems like under Pope, if you’re healthy, you play.
Naturally Arkansas has two starters injured in Aidoo and Brazile. I watched them last night and literally nothing has changed. As soon as I flipped it on it was a baseline out of bounds. They did the ol’ lob into Z in the corner and Ark-Little Rock stole it.
I am so glad I don’t have to watch us inbound the ball like that anymore. I watched it too and noticed all the old Cal stuff. It’s like watching a carbon copy of our last 5 or 6 teams. The terrible offense, bad inbounding. Coasting after getting a lead, and turning it over too much. They hang their hat on. Ring more athletic than the teams they play. If they played any team so far that could match them athletically they would lose. Just like Baylor.

What a STOOPID PLAY CALL!!!

Wilcox started the game and got 11 carries.
DSK rotated in and got 9 carries.
they are the only two backs we played.

Wilcox is still having issues on protection.

Brea's #s can go down and we'll be fine so long as the rest of the team makes shots. We're at 42% as a team, and Kriisa isn't even hitting. He's still sub 30% right now from three.

I love that you can't help off anyone from the 1-4 spots. Now that Butler is making threes (5/11 on the season), it's only going to make this team that much more dangerous.

This team would have to have an epically poor shooting night in the first weekend to be sent home early. There's just too many good weapons, and unlike last year, we have at least three elite defenders (Oweh, Butler, Williams) and three more who are above average (Robinson, Carr, and Garrison).

This team should be in at least the Sweet Sixteen when it's all said and done.
