You were wrong because you're comment offered no solution. OP was obviously aggravated. I don't know how old he is or how tech savvy he is. To me it sounded like an older guy not wanting deal with all of these extra steps. I know my grandfather who is 80 years old drove trucks and was a mechanic. He had a flip phone until about a year ago. Like a lot of old men in these areas. They need help sometimes. If hes on here asking I doubt he has anyone younger to ask or he would. Maybe not that's speculation on my part. Bur I'd rather not be a dick either way.

Yeah. There was no control over this one either.

I'm fairly certain that Cal wasn't the only one that set this up. That several SEC schools have set up agreements with SWAC schools.

It is what it is.

Especially given what we have around the corner. The non conference is tough enough and the SEC is a beast this season. Scheduling will not be the reason we get/don't get a particular seed.

Post-Game Commentary: Cats vs. Jackson State

* As expected, the Cats overwhelm Jackson State in cruising to a 49 point win. In what has been a pleasant trend, the Cats are crushing the teams they should beat. That suggests a team with good maturity and mindset … no off days.

* Cats 17-39 from 3pt line, a crazy +39 from the 3pt line over Jackson State. The Cats relentless pace on offense and ability to take and make the 3pt shot is very difficult to play agaiant. The one bad stat on the night was that Jackson State had 13 offensive rebounds, but they missed a bunch of shots so there was a lot of opportunity.

* Butler, Oweh, Robinson, and Brea combined for 68 points … that’s not the only scorers we have, but that’s the heart of our scoring. Williams and Garrison combine for 10 pts, 16 rbs, and 9 assists, another solid outing for our 5 spot. Carr with another quiet, but solid night. Almonor and Chandler were solid as well.

* Posted this in the game thread, but currently the SEC’s 16 teams are a combined 65-8 … it’s going to soon be a rugged schedule, so getting these games early is valuable to develop team chemistry.

* Up Next: Cats take on Western Kentucky on Tuesday night. Keep getting better, stay healthy, and take care of academics.

Big UK Fan But In Spite Of Our Record I’m Not Convinced We Are Top 10 Team, Maybe Not Top 20.

You started off ok.

Yeah Duke missed an abnormal amount of 3s for that team. A lot of those were open looks too.

The last paragraph tho I completely disagree and I think that will bear itself out once we start playing tough games on a daily basis. If anything, coming into this year we were underranked and have shown that now through 5 games.

You say live by three die by three but we are making damn near 60% of our 2s. We have also only turned the ball on 13.8% of our possessions. 28th best in D1.

Conversely, on defense we are holding teams to an effective FG% of 41.7%. Good for 22nd. Teams are only rebounding 24% of their misses. Good for 35th. We are also not fouling. 5th in defensive foul rate.

This team is so much more than the live by three die by three u make it out to be. In fact, we are only taking slightly more threes than the D1 avg.

UK now averaging 12.6 made threes per game. Now averaging 97 points per game.

What’s crazy is tonight we had a lot of opportunities to make one more pass to get even better looks. Pope’s offense has far surpassed even my best possible expectations. I’m thinking we could be on the verge of becoming a juggernaut.
