Rules question about the fescue. Isn't it a rule that if you move anything around the ball and it moves that it is a penalty stroke? Won't that happen a lot trying to find balls if it is hit into it?
And if it is and someone notices it on TV and calls in they are the biggest loser on the face of the Earth.

You obviously have to identify your ball, if it moves you would replace it in original lie and move forward, i doubt cameras would be able to be all over that because of the high fescue. I don't see it being any type of issue.
I think if you searching for your ball in that high fescue and accidentally move it you are ok, replace it in as close to the same lie as you can. If you need to pick it up to identify it, you are ok, just replace it in same lie.

I wish they all did, I would have an easy excuse to skip them all except for my kids.
Kind of funny how they keep mentioning the muddy parking lot and Mike Tirico just said to get your tow trucks out. I parked in the lot at the PGA in 1996 that had that nightmare and got out fine but I know a couple of people that don't find it all that funny.
Thursday is better than Memorial Day which is when my niece graduated High School this year.
So much for bitching about the rough, Fowler already -6, JB -4 after 9. Think Rory was right, I heard him say "We are professionals, if you can't keep it inside these fairways, which are pretty wide by US Open standards, you might as well pack your bags."
Course is defenseless like many other great courses without the wind. Its going to get tougher if the weather forecast is correct. Better eat today if you a chance to win it.
Very surprised to see DJ +3 after the first 9. I thought the wider fairways would be right up his alley...

Just a question because I've worn glasses since before I can remember so I wear sunglasses all the time but why don"t PGA players wear them? I would think they all would.
Got Fowler at 18-1 with five whole dollars on the line. Really feeling good about this one you guys.
Like to see Fowler win but he gets very sketchy on Sunday's. Like he had to do a few years ago at The Players after being voted most overrated on tour he needs to prove he has what it takes to win a major on Sunday.
Mark couldn't even drive it between tees?
