People in this country would seriously have to tighten their belts and prepare for some rough times financially and in the availability of supplies if we start sanctioning China right now as well. Not saying don't do it but, the government better have some plan to offset some of supply problems we will encounter. Long run I think that would be to our benefit as we start dealing more at home, but prices will rise. Problem is current government is in bed with China and would pressure US companies not to backout. That and the money these companies would lose will deter them from backing out anyway.

This war just seems like a cupcake war for what I would expect for a 2022 war with a country like Russia vs. a country like Ukraine. I mean I know it has been like 8-8.5 days only, but thought Russia could just annihilate Ukraine's opposition if they really wanted to do so.

They’re already struggling with logistics and they planned for months for this war and US intelligence would have info on if they’re planning anything. It will take years to rebuild the amount of weaponry that will be lost this war. Putin is a madman but he understands that trying to go straight into a NATO country will result in a multi front war while already suffering major losses in this “minor” war. After this war ends the worry will shift to probably 2024-25

The alliance of nato has undergone only a week of stress. Do you think Germany or France would take on a nuke war for Estonia? Yes I believe NATO would defend NATO members. Otherwise the alliance is pointless. Logistically speaking, Russians are literally running out of gas in this invasion. Now imagine that happening while having NATO there.
