Something is about to happen, and I wonder how, if any, it goes different than when Russia took Crimea.
Putin labeled two regions within Ukraine as independent regions today. (there had been a russian separatist movement in each of these regions for years now)
And now he is sending in a "Peacekeeping" mission to stop the fighting..
And now Putin just said this:
Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Ukraine is an integral part of Russia historically, arguing it was a mistake for Soviet leaders such as Nikita Khruschev to give the country an independent identity.

"For some reason Khruschev gave Ukraine separate status," Putin said during remarks at a security council meeting Monday. "Why did we have to be so generous and then give these Republics the right to leave. Madness!"

Putin argued that it was a fact that Ukraine was created by Soviet Russia and Vladimir Lenin, but has now been reduced to a "colony" that is government by foreign powers such as the U.S., who control the government from their Embassy in Kiev.

Yeah I'm sure Putin wants it for a reason. Not for sure what yet but it's not ours so...

The two areas he is sending troops into are the ones he has supported through pro Russian separatists. The Russian backed separatists and Ukrainian military have been going at each other in that area since 2014 or so. If he stops there it should calm down after a time. Of course the oil market and stock market will continue to be uneasy till it does.

Russia, UK, and USA signed an agreement to recognize the sovereignty and security of Ukraine and others as long as they give up their nukes. Putin for the second time, has violated that agreement with regards to Ukraine.
Biden allowed this to happen. Russia smells blood in the water and sh*t in Bidens shorts.

No need to worry: Brandon's got this (minus his 10% of course)

Russia invades countries when their adversaries are in office.
When the same few crawl out of the pollical thread at the same time to basically post the same shit. It's like they're all one person. Pretty sure this is bigger than Biden/Trump, but please obsess and bicker over which 80 year old you enjoy the most.

False on both points. Perhaps those that can't see or won't see are the same serpents who crawl out to defend their savior. But you go ahead and defend Biden showing you for the hypocrite you are. Trump was going to start WWIII according to you people and that never happened. Keep on lemming on.

Didn't we say we wouldn't offer Ukraine Nato membership? Seems like the cia and State dept have as much of blame in this as VLad.

Love you guys!

Seriously, no one wants to see invasions and conflicts. If your very first thought is to crush whoever the current POTUS is (which you all currently do daily), then you're being a small minded political sheep. Putin has made this a world issue, so find your backbones and act like Americans for a change. I don't know what to say to you if you'd rather bash the President of your own country instead of a thug like Putin.

I can’t do a damn thing about Putin. You can’t either. Unfortunately, we have to rely on our leader to do something. Evidently you have more faith in him than I do. Hopefully, he can rise to the occasion.

You mean the same president that bashes us? The same president and his cronies that helped bash and falsely accuse a sitting president of Russian collusion? You mean the same president who accused a sitting president of fake Quid Pro Quo on the Ukraine when there was video proof of he himself actually doing it? You mean the same president who was trying to mandate that all people should take a vaccine that could possibly kill them? No one is siding with Russia except perhaps Biden who killed a pipeline that would help Americans and then supported the one that would help Russia. You sure have your priorities screwed up.
