I’m not in favor of what Putin is doing, but some of his claims about there being Nazis/neo-Nazis in Ukraine aren’t inaccurate.

I would assume, at a minimum, it would take 5 to 10 people performing some action to initiate the firing of a nuclear weapon. I refuse to believe he has a suitcase in his bedroom with a big red button in it. Name nearly any country in the past 10 years and I can show you "pockets" of neo-nazism. Realistically, it's a way to villainize hyper-nationalism/isolationism that saw rise under Trump and similar Eastern European leaders. It's lazy and pathetic.

You’re right about that. The far right wing groups in Ukraine have been welcomed into the Ukrainian army. To what extent are Nazis an issue in Ukraine is the debate I suppose. I’m not knowledgeable enough to have a strong opinion on that. I’d say most people don’t know about the political makeup of Ukraine.
The US military is not decimated. In fact, we have invested heavily over the last
10+ Years specifically to counter the Russian and Chinese threats. In a 1v1 matchup we could still eradicate any country in the world even when Russia and China invest heavily to grow their technological capabilities.
Unfortunately it’s not that easy and in the geopolitical landscape going to war with Russia or any country with a significant military would be an existential problem. Because of that, trust me when I say no one with any rational mind wants to go to war with Russia.
