Yea. We are getting propaganda for sure. I hope Ukraine defends itself but I don't want Nato or America to get in this fight. The woman with the bloody face was actually a gas explosion a few years back, the snake island guys ended up surrendering and the ghost of kyiv is largely considered a propaganda story. The only story that might be true is that a guy detonated a bridge personally when the remote failed.

He said even if they hide or participate in guerilla warfare from the buildings in the city Russia would roll in with missile launchers and using thermobaric missiles and destroy the buildings slaughtering everyone. He also said Putin is slow playing his advance to let the Ukrainians have time to understand their actual position and surrender. Putin doesn't want to destroy the infrastructure.

Russia doesn't care about communications in Ukraine. There is no one Ukraine can call. No one is coming to help them. They are being hit from four sides. It is just a matter of time before Ukraine surrenders unless Putin changes his mind. Food production and importation has ended. The only reason they have running water is because Putin doesn't want to have to rebuild the infrastructure. Russia has air superiority. If you think this is not an invasion I find that very strange. Do you think this is all being staged? Like the moon landings supposedly were?

Russia’s air power should have been sufficient to neutralize Ukraine’s obsolescent Soviet era air in the first 24 hours. It hasn’t done so yet.
Films are emerging of entire tank columns running out of fuel, with Ukrainian motorists offering to “pull you back to Russia.”

If Putin “wins” it will be by destroying the entire infrastructure of 1/6th of the former Soviet Union, and by the absorption of a crippled client state, with an added “poison pill” of the diaspora of 10 million permanently pissed off affluent Ukrainians scattered across the Free World.
And that is what “victory” will look like.
And “defeat” or a political settlement less than surrender of Ukraine will be worse.

Here's a question for everyone. Can you identify the Russian based posters in our political thread? They are there. Guarantee it. Another active political forum I post in has policed several of them out. The Political Thread here has done no such thing so there is definitely at least one or two in there sharing Russian created nonsense aimed at right wing Americans to disenfranchise them on democracy and encourage them to be more authoritarian.
Yeah, I do think that Putin expected a different opponent. As stated in another post, I also think he does not want to have to rebuild the Ukraine. It certainly has not progressed as I expected, which has been good news.
One Ukrainian interviewed said that Russian interests own the communication systems/infrastructures in Ukraine.

If this was a traditional war you would be correct, but it isn't. This is the same kind of war you have seen the US attempt to conduct for decades, a war for the hearts and minds.
Putin wants the Ukrainians to see him as a liberator, not a conqueror. Therefore, he has to maintain a least a bit of "civility" in his aggression. He also doesn't want to tear the country to pieces because Russia cannot afford to rebuild everything they destroy.
Today, Russia agreed to sit down with the Ukraine government. Imo, that will fail because neither side will negotiate in good faith. If that happens, you will see the mask slip and the dogs of war will be released.
