Hyde isn't a Ukrainian name. I guess it could be somehow. So some American or British pilot is flying against the Russians.

I just see so much gas lighting.

He's an internet comic that likes to photoshop himself into these type of situatinos.

But yeah, if there's anything you can't trust in all this, it's your own eyes. I SCENE'T IT don't mean nothing.

There is so much I do not know. The amount of misinformation though. I realize Adam isn't the brightest but my God.

If you're going to claim to be a Ukrainian pilot don't give yourself an English last name.
He's not really claiming to be a Ukrainian Pilot. It's a running joke that the name Sam Hyde (or similar variations of it) is inserted into various situations.

They seem to be stepping up.

“Mr. Scholz announced a one-time increase of 100 billion euros ($113 billion) for defense spending and a pledge to spend more than 2 percent of Germany’s economic output annually on defense. He also proposed enshrining that threshold in the country’s Constitution, ensuring that future governments follow it.

The moves were part of an astonishing — and sudden — reversal to decades of German foreign policy that have come as European nations join together to oppose Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Mr. Scholz described the Russian military action as having “created a new reality” that “requires a clear response.”

Germany
They totally F-ed Up by committing to eliminate nuke power (while next door France is at ~70%) and choosing to be heavily dependent on R's NG. Then as the dominant country in NATO after US, they didn't fully fund their military. I mean they chose to eunuchs. Old day late & dollar short Germany.

Concerned about Russian response to sanctions. Country is being cornered and embarrassed. Also means they have less to lose.
Here’s the thing that is fuzzy to me. Putin knew this is how the West would react, with sanctions, it just seems there’s more at play here.

We’re all assuming the plan was to race to Kyiv and take it over. Ukraine is a much more formidable foe than Iraq, and it took the US over 30 days to get to Baghdad. They have control of the air, if they wanted the lights out, and internet down it would be, so why haven’t they?

It is peculiar. Doesn’t make sense

So, we have insidiously founded or encouraged republics and democracies, demonically advanced the cultural, economic and social interests of our European forbears, all to the belittlement of a country traditionally of extreme authoritarian/totalitarian bent?

GOOD GOD MAN, SOMEONE MUST BE SHOT!!

If our leaders continue to act in such blatant regard for our national and international interests and the inherent rights of mankind, may God have mercy on our collective soul!!

International disputes are always a debate of "good vs. evil", again this time Putin has solidified his country's status as aligned with the latter.

I've been reminding everyone I know of Ukraine's historical attachment to Russia as a justification for this invasion on his part, trying to make excuses for these illegal actions. I'm 100% wrong. Apparently a full generation of independence can turn a people's worldview on its head. This guy Zelensky asking for ammo instead of a ride out is unreal. Power to these people and F**& Putin for all times
That's one conservative.

All these financial restrictions aren’t going to do anything they’re just symbolic. They’ll hurt the Russian people but long term little effects on Russia and Putin as they turned to Crypto as of October. The US can’t stop Russia financially because of this. Ultimately Putin is going to win this war just by overwhelming force. This is probably going to devolve into guerrilla warfare and that’s the question what does Putin get from this?

The lights are out in certain areas. But Ukraine has 4 nuclear power plants with 15 reactors in the southern and western part of the country. Along with hydroelectric power plants.

If you invade, you take down communications, which hasn't been done. Internet is fine. Phones are fine. I've watched videos of people doing business as usual there, so this is all so odd. Turned it all off for the night to login here, but may go back to watching foreign media. I don't know what y'all are watching to get what you're getting

Financial sanctions are way beyond symbolic.

Here's a question for everyone. Can you identify the Russian based posters in our political thread? They are there. Guarantee it. Another active political forum I post in has policed several of them out. The Political Thread here has done no such thing so there is definitely at least one or two in there sharing Russian created nonsense aimed at right wing Americans to disenfranchise them on democracy and encourage them to be more authoritarian.
Only for about 7 years though.

Hillary actually spreads the most Russian propaganda to try and alter democracy and win an election. (Treason type of sh$t) Your “news” sources probably haven’t told you that its been confirmed by an independent investigation, beyond the shadow of a doubt, and that indictments are coming within her campaign. The hypocrisy from the left is mind-blowing and gutless.. Always accusing the right of bad behavior while doing it themselves and denying it/lying about it. Pathetic. “Fact checker”. lmao
See how this works?

Meanwhile, back in the U.S., aka the Twilight Zone:

Sen. Tommy Tuberville says Russia is still a 'communist country' and is invading Ukraine because 'they need more farmland'

Tuberville made the remarks in a address before the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce billed as a "Washington Brief"... "He can't feed his people," Tuberville said, referring to Putin. "It's a communist country, so he can't feed his people, so they need more farmland."

^ That's just simply astounding. I honestly think that senators, at the very least, should be able to pass a basic high school-level world history exam before being admitted to office.

Doesn’t that seem a little manufactured ?

Setting all other opinions aside for a min -

Doesn’t the media coverage seem a little simplistic as always and 100% weighted towards vilifying Russia while Lionizing Ukraine and Zelensky?

Hell - for those who believe that Russia is the villain here ....doesn’t it give pause when you see George Soros eloquently communicating his love , support and pride of “what Ukraine has become”?

Above all else we should be pulling for / praying for de-escalation that includes NATO backing the hell out of the country

They’re about to kick off a chain of events that are irreversible (noting yesterday’s removal of Russia fm Swift and NATO announcement of pending deployment including US forces)

The whole thing has a bizarre “Real/Not Real” feel to it .....i wish i could express or explain that better
I sense a pattern.

See how this works?

You poor thing. Break out a meme and laugh it off again like you did yesterday when I asked you what you thought about John Kerry saying that he hopes people don't focus too much on Ukraine and take their eyes off of climate change, when referring to Putin. (Kerry took a private jet to that interview, lol).

Just face it, you've aligned yourself with scum and buffoons and are too stubborn to admit it.

“European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen confirmed on Sunday that the European Union is shutting down the EU airspace to Russia.

“We are proposing a prohibition on all Russian-owned, Russian-registered and Russian-controlled aircraft. These aircraft will no more be able to land in, take off or overfly the territory of the European Union. This will apply to any plane”, von der Leyen said.
“Our airspace will be closed to every Russian plane. And that includes the private jets of oligarchs too," she said.

Many European countries had already closed their airspace to Russian airlines and aircrafts as of Sunday, including Germany, France and Italy.”
