Chechen kill squad including +50 tanks and their general has been wiped out by the Ukrainians.

If you invade, you take down communications, which hasn't been done. Internet is fine. Phones are fine.
If that's all true, why did Musk feel the need to hook up his Starlink internet service to Ukraine? I do like your military expertise though. 🤣

Girthang can't be happy about this loss of life since she doesn't think there's an invasion even.

Here's a question for everyone. Can you identify the Russian based posters in our political thread? They are there. Guarantee it. Another active political forum I post in has policed several of them out. The Political Thread here has done no such thing so there is definitely at least one or two in there sharing Russian created nonsense aimed at right wing Americans to disenfranchise them on democracy and encourage them to be more authoritarian.

Your account's relatively new. How do we know you're not a Russian poster who's just here to sow dissent?

Yep, Catsillustrated is known to be a vital information outlet for spreading vital international messaging to subvert the political infrastructure of a democratic world.

Who knew? 🤪
The Commies have infiltrated the SEC Basketball Referees Association and have been blatantly working to keep UK down for generations. We all know this.

Said this yesterday:

"After four days of Russia invading his nation, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says he's growing frustrated with an apparent lack of international action — so he’s seeking his own team of supporters, he announced.

Zelenskyy hopes to draw volunteers who will "defend Ukraine and world order as part of the International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine," Ukraine Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba."

You are truly deranged and probably need psychiatric help like many other of your Russian fearing liberal lunatics. I almost feel bad for you, but not really. Part of me hopes the Russians hiding under your bed are real…

The Bidens, Clintons, Pelosi's and a few others have probably gotten enough money from the Ukrainian government and are now "banking" on the "Chinese Connection" AKA "The Big Boss."

My ancestral home Germany totally sucks.

They seem to be stepping up.

“Mr. Scholz announced a one-time increase of 100 billion euros ($113 billion) for defense spending and a pledge to spend more than 2 percent of Germany’s economic output annually on defense. He also proposed enshrining that threshold in the country’s Constitution, ensuring that future governments follow it.

The moves were part of an astonishing — and sudden — reversal to decades of German foreign policy that have come as European nations join together to oppose Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Mr. Scholz described the Russian military action as having “created a new reality” that “requires a clear response.”

Something Trump was trying to get them to do before. I have seen some poster say that it took Biden to get them to do it. I guess that is one way to look at it. His weakness through the Afghanistan debacle and his handling of foreign affairs in general has proven to the world that we cannot protect them anymore.

Zelensky very quickly ascending to legendary status...

...while Putin descends into pariah status.

Doesn’t that seem a little manufactured ?

Setting all other opinions aside for a min -

Doesn’t the media coverage seem a little simplistic as always and 100% weighted towards vilifying Russia while Lionizing Ukraine and Zelensky?

Hell - for those who believe that Russia is the villain here ....doesn’t it give pause when you see George Soros eloquently communicating his love , support and pride of “what Ukraine has become”?

Above all else we should be pulling for / praying for de-escalation that includes NATO backing the hell out of the country

They’re about to kick off a chain of events that are irreversible (noting yesterday’s removal of Russia fm Swift and NATO announcement of pending deployment including US forces)

The whole thing has a bizarre “Real/Not Real” feel to it .....i wish i could express or explain that better

exactly. Russia is in the wrong. There were so many diplomatic ways to work this issue out but Putin is an egomaniac, but when Soros is out moonlighting for Ukraine, then you know something isn’t right.

I think the MSM is also lying through their teeth with propaganda

You forgot the “they be woke, and poisoned by critical race theory.”

I guess -

Doesn’t anyone remember the very clear western involvement in destabilizing Ukraine?

You only have to go back to about 2014 or so so see some of the elements

Russia is right to push back against NATO and the financial / cultural incursions happening in their backyard

Based on what we know today - I respect them for it

They’ve seen the track record of what happens when the western powers destabilize and move into the ME / Eurasia etc ...

The only real question here may be — can NATO prop up a stable strong hold in this region that manages to outlast the crumbling US economy?

I think the momentum of a worldwide economic reset may be more of a factor here than whether or not the US believes were some kind of savior to the Ukrainian ppl

This is a mess , man

Air Raid sirens just sounded in Kyiv and Trey Yingst just said there are explosions in the background.

Round 4 begins.

Is Russia under the centralized banking system?

Not
Is Russia under the centralized banking system?

Not my strongest topic -

But my understanding is that they are not

They use / feature Russian (or chinese?) centric banking mechanisms

and while i’m no economist i DO understand that when entire currencies or national economies get targeted for takeover or elimination. —— major wars ...sometimes world wars — tend to follow

Russia having expressly written “no outside banks allowed in” type clauses into the Minsk agreement for UKR ceasefire shows me that this is a concern —

maybe they see the IMF or World Bank as instruments of warfare as opposed to simple agents of savings and loan?
