That appears to be your argument. So the United States should amicably resign their position & exit NATO

A “lightning rod” drop of a name.
How old was he when NATO was formed?
Guy must be 120 years old to have caused all this!!
Frankly, given their losses in Ukraine, they look less likely to threaten the Balkans, especially if sufficient forces are kept there to defend against them. And it’s moot anyway i guess - Russia isn’t threatening Poland that i can see
Ok. You get 10 bonus points for the Lon Chaney reference!!!Lon Chaney
That appears to be your argument.
I’m hoping you don’t say Bela Legosi, again.i bet you’re thinking....if that MFer says Kievian State ONE MORE TIME!!!! IMMA SNAP!!!€|**!!
Frankly, given their losses in Ukraine, they look less likely to threaten the Balkans, especially if sufficient forces are kept there to defend against them.
I wonder how many are left!I wonder how their flag officers are doing with reality vs their strategy and estimated results
Exactly, our military is not ready, nor should they be sent into this mess. This should be between the Ukrainians, Russia and the surrounding area. Too add to that, there are a lot more Nazi's living in Ukraine than people think. This is a fight between two bad elements, and we should not get involved.I’m saying that we should at least attempt to understand the history and associated cultural forces that factor in here -
Why wouldn’t you?
Cause that’s the shitshow we’re used to seeing?
Worlds greatest media propaganda outlets singing our praises as we blunder ignorantly and ineffectively into another war we cant afford — have NO business fighting —- while queuing up another generation of hapless veterans who’ll bear the brunt of George Soros’ wrath directed at Russia
No legitimate or even half assed strategy on what our goals would exactly BE —
What WOULD they be damnit??
The “Protect Ukraine from Russia forever” tour?
Take Russia off the board entirely?
Draft a peaceful resolution while flanking Russia with halfassed - untested NATO combat units?!
That we pay for - ? Again???
Willing to use nukes to stop Russia if they overrun our initial defensive lines?
No?
So not THAT committed
They’d need to be -
USA needs limp home and spend some quiet time contemplating the ENORMOUS FKK-SHOW WE DISPLAYED IN AFGHANISTAN
I seriously struggle to believe that anyone on this board TRULY THINKS that our beleaguered military.......is ready for ANY KIND OF MAJOR REGIONAL CONFLICT -‘Sr Leaders better start considering how they can defend the homeland itself
This is a red flag for me in all of this. I have seen a few videos lately (one in particular) of Ukrainian's giving the Nazi salute. Some say just a small region but, there are a lot of sympathizers in there as well. One football (soccer) match had almost the entire crowd hailing Naziism and giving the salute. They’re the aggressors - this is Soros’ rented army going into the exact regions he said he would go into — and consistently supporting the types of changes that GS political organs claim
George Freaking Soros
A real live Nazi sympathizer
Well and quotes from the head of our military, Gen Mattis, saying "we have no proof they did it"... If you pick one thing and leave out all the pertaining info then it seems like just nit picking to fit a narrative.Couldn’t help but notice you linked a film/piece by Eva Bartlett.
Here’s a real entertaining article where she reveals what a worker’s paradise North Korea is . . . man that had entirely passed me by!

This Lady writes with such talent and persuasion, she needs to give a crack at revisiting Nazi Germany and Stalinistic Russia. I bet those Gulags, Stalags and death camps would have looked entirely different through her unbiased eyes.
Your analogy here appears to be that if the guy is big enough or has the potential to do great harm then by all accounts they make their own rules and if anyone tries to stop them then that party is responsible for whatever harm comes about. Do I have that right? So now imagine that guy has nukes and could kill millions of people.... You still so cavalier? Tough guy willing to take millions of people to the grave with him because "Nobody tells me what to do"...? Now imagine it isn't even you dating her but some dude you don't even know and he drags you into the fight because of his pride????
Diplomacy used to be a thing, but alas our state dept treats other countries like you would treat a potential date. It's only human life at stake for your pride. "we want this country so damn anyone that says no".... Victoria Nuland.
Do realize how many people die on planet Earth if ww3 kicks off over Ukraine?
Having lived in another culture for several years (not Ukraine) and even within our own culture I’ve figured out that churches aren’t always the sanctified entities we like to think of them being. We see that here with how evangelicals have wrapped themselves around the GOP. I’ve been attending church for all of 62+ years and never once has anyone in a pulpit where I’ve attended uttered the least bit of political preference. The church has stated official positions on matters that become political but you will need to go looking for those positions in publications as they won’t be preached. Which begs the question how many evangelical churches retain their 501(c)(3) status that forbids political activity???If the church is being targeted and used by outsiders to agitate conflict and “cultural revolution” that’s a sickening display of apathy and disdain towards another culture you know ?
Arnold - tell me true dude
You don’t support sending US troops into that fight do you ?
I think i’ve raged at the idea and managed to
make it seem like i’m putting words in your mouth
Don’t really control that. You think we should let this century’s version of Stalin run roughshod over Eastern Europe? Nope. Remember Ronald Reagan? He’d be disgusted with you conservatives right now.So now imagine that guy has nukes and could kill millions of people.... You still so cavalier? Tough guy willing to take millions of people to the grave with him because "Nobody tells me what to do"...? Now imagine it isn't even you dating her but some dude you don't even know and he drags you into the fight because of his pride????

I'm far right-wing and agree with you. Don't label all of us.Yeah! Go Russia! Sanction the President of the United States!!! I will say this: it takes a lot of cajones to openly root for bad things to happen to your country when you are BASICALLY at war with a long-time adversary. “Trump lost, so I hope America fails! Wooooo!”
Wait, what? Why are almost ALL THE COUNTRIES IN THE ENTIRE WORLD against Vladimir Putin’s bullish? Could be that what he’s doing is ACTUALLY happening. Do you also think JFK didn’t get his head blown off in clear daylight? There’s ACTUAL VIDEO OF WHAT’S GOING ON! You can’t spin it. It’s there, it’s pure evil, and there’s nothing vague or nuanced about it. Russia has bombed and shelled maternity wards, shelters, and town squares. They are absolutely the bad guys and that’s really all there is to it.
I don’t know why I am trying. I am pleading for the souls of people who are comfortable in their right-wing BS to get their head’s out their asses and admit this is really happening, but I fear it does absolutely nothing. Believe what you want to believe. You will, anyway. You, Venezuela, India, Iran, and China. Good company.
You can read that two ways. I'm guessing he was using hyperbole to make a point. I'm guessing you think he's being literal. So democracy is a few thousand people showing up outside a capitol building and demanding to overturn an election? I've heard this referred to differently somewhere.
You know Zelensky ran in 2014 and got 2% of the vote then Kolomoisky got behind him and he won? So who is the president? The guy that got Zelensky elected is banned from entering the US and owes fines in over a dozen countries. He's a criminal king pin. He litter ali cut peoples arms off with chainsaws to get the owners of businesses to sign their property over. He isn't the richest oligarch in Ukraine but he is by far the most feared. He has the largest mercenary army and helps fund 2 other mercenary armies. He started the violence in the donesk and donbas... a US publication, wrote in mid-June 2014 that Kolomoyskyi enjoyed the local population's strong support. "I don't care if he's like Hitler, as long as he prevents war coming here," says a local restaurateur.[31]
Don't just ignore that quote... Think about it and how it relates to possible ww3?
I'm far right-wing and agree with you. Don't label all of us.
We can agree on this completely. Churches moreover preachers, pasters, fathers, reverends, or whatever you chose to call them need only teach the word of God. They need not add to nor take away and then, allow their "flock" make their own decisions.Having lived in another culture for several years (not Ukraine) and even within our own culture I’ve figured out that churches aren’t always the sanctified entities we like to think of them being. I digress…
When does a “church” cross the line and become fair game? Does preaching the gospel on Sunday give them carte blanche to do anything Monday-Saturday? Is the church being used or are people using the church as cover?
You are generally known for posting too much propaganda. The Paddock: Russia just wants to liberate children.
Reader: By killing them?
The Paddock: You read too much propaganda.

Lol, you post some of the dumbest takes on this board, and you're a grown up and you're a liberal. Sure thing chief.I'm a liberal, and not to be insulting, think you're both ignorant.
You are useful idiots. Sorry to be so blunt, but it's true.
You are generally known for posting too much propaganda.
I don’t know if Russia has the missile or not, but the missile remnants being shown in the pictures is not the one that hit the train station or even detonated. A missile traveling at thousands of feet per second with a bomb that explodes on impact isn’t going to look like that after impact and detonation.
It’s a great argument. NATO has outlived its usefulness. The idea that Russia is going to try and take over Europe is absurd. Gotta keep that MIC in business though. That appears to be your argument.
IMHO the question that needs to be asked is whether or not you believe that Ukraine needs to be sacrificed in order to placate Russia?
How far into the reassembly of the USSR do we allow Russia to go until we take a stand?
Lol, you post some of the dumbest takes on this board, and you're a grown up and you're a liberal. Sure thing chief.
Was there only 1? Their missiles also have a high failure rate.I don’t know if Russia has the missile or not, but the missile remnants being shown in the pictures is not the one that hit the train station or even detonated. A missile traveling at thousands of feet per second with a bomb that explodes on impact isn’t going to look like that after impact and detonation.
That in and of itself should be a red flag to the story.
You must be applying for "DUMBEST POST OF THE WEEK". I'll let you try to figure out why. I'm not sure you can beat Poet but you're giving that old grade school try. It’s a great argument. NATO has outlived its usefulness. The idea that Russia is going to try and take over Europe is absurd. Gotta keep that MIC in business though.
Remember, I'm an idiot so please explain your simple math. The rest of the former Soviet states in Eastern Europe have treaty ties with us. That would be when war happens.
Sacrifice is a terrible term but simple math should make clear what the proper course of action should be.
I don't know, to read the articles that is the missile responsible, and to drive home the point it has " for the children" written on it, that also survived the impact. Was there only 1? Their missiles also have a high failure rate.
Maybe they are, I dont have enough information. However, if you want me to believe they did it to themselves, don't bother.I don't know, to read the articles that is the missile responsible, and to drive home the point it has " for the children" written on it, that also survived the impact.
My point is this, they are obviously lying about this particular missile, that doesn't seem concerning to you?
Where did I say that? I'm only pointing out the obvious propaganda that was one of the focal points of the narrative.Maybe they are, I dont have enough information. However, if you want me to believe they did it to themselves, don't bother.
You know, a lot of history and border-shifting happens over the course 1200-1300 years. Hell, that was even before the concept of anything resembling a modern nation state existed. Let's see, the homelands of the Bulgars and Magyars (Hungarians) are in Ural Mountain area and the surrounding steppes. So, for example, if Bulgaria and Hungary were much larger and stronger, by your reasoning they'd have a right to intervene or invade Russia if there were some sort of political dispute with a remnant ethnic population in that region. That's essentially what you're saying. Or, maybe Brazil should take over Portugal and then seek to press Portugal's past irredentist claims against Spanish territory? Or even maybe the best example, there are a bunch of ethnic Mongolic people in Russia, so Mongolia should totally invade to protect their far-distantly removed historical interests.Ukraine IS Russia’s first home -
Before there was Russia - there was The Kievian State / Kievian Rus
So the “home”’ metaphor isn’t as clean here as it would be if Russia had sent forces into France or India
