Russia - Ukraine WAR Warning: Political Discussions

I actually liked to come this thread to get updates on the war (thanks @Canned Heat ), but it has devolved into a right wing conspiracy echo chamber.
Literally the post above this one was you, claiming that any questioning of this war is Russian propaganda spread by right wingers. What a self-own.

Some of us have growing concerns about the course we’re on, especially with today’s unbelievable gaffe by our “leader”. What he said today has given a madman a reason to escalate. That’s not propaganda.

You know it's a cult when they defend a murderer in Europe and blame the American President for everything he does.
You know it's a cult when they blame everything happening to us now on the previous president or leaders in other countries that have nothing to do with us unless you take into account the corrupt dealings our current leadership had with everybody involved in the current war.

I have no idea but Putin is clearly pushing us. I don’t care about politics just want want to know where we are heading in regards to war. I have many friends in military that I would rather see home.
We are pushing him, very clearly and very obviously deliberately and ignorantly.

And no, that has nothing to do with Russian propaganda or the exceedingly ignorant position you fools have been propagandized yourself to believe that there's some pro-Putin element to western governments. We can control what we do, not what they do. It takes two to tango.

You simply can't depose the leader of a nuclear power the same way you could snag Saddam from his shed bunker or catch Gaddafi in the streets to sodomize him to death.

This is what it's going to take, a proxy war in Europe with loads of unnecessary death and destruction. If you would rather see them home, as I would, then you want nothing that needlessly escalates this war.

Everyone who is blabbing their mouths about Biden's remark about Putin having to go are not sitting in on the same intelligence briefings Joe is.

Putin is a dead man walking so the President's words make perfect sense if you understand the context. Joe is giving you a heads up on it is all. Just like he's been doing the whole time so pay attention. Putin. Dead man walking. Mark it down.

When you put a Democrat in office (or a Bush) this is what happens. They go all over the world sticking their nose in every body's "war" because that is how you spread globalism. Globalism is the primary goal of the United States government today and if you are not on their side, they will destroy you.

They don't care. ITs on tv. ITs not real to them. Those people will be in another movie in a few months fighting against Trump voters in their minds. That is how these pro war people think now. They aren't gonna fight and their kid ain't gonna fight. So why not get 1 million people killed if it makes them feel good about themselves?

So you don't think there's value to the US by having some of our troops in any country but the US?

Being stupid about military equipment, where/how would U have shells to fire the things? Are their tanks R design already?
Yes. When UA broke off from USSR they took all their old Soviet-era equipment with them. Although UA primarily operated older T-64, they also possessed some T-72 tanks and ammo, which RUS used for invasion.

Great interview with Michael Kofman, well-respected Russian analyst. Interesting read. Ukraine essentially controls the current information environment. RUS might still pull this off.

Folks, the cards are already on the table. Russia is as done in Ukraine as done can get. It's killing time. As the supply lines for Ukraine solidify and intensify as they're essentially supplied by the world and the Russian's slink back, you'll have emboldened Ukrainians going more and more on the offensive and the Russians more and more desperate to survive and retreat to what they think they can hold in the East, then when the true nature and extent to what has happened in Mariupol becomes more clear, the world will recoil in horror even more.

The likelihood of Putin using Chemical/Biological weapons is extremely high right now and would be a last hurrah for him if he does. I am concerned about Putin trying to score a cheap win by killing Zelensky and most of his Government with a chemical strike as that would give Putin something to slink back home with, but even that would not be enough to save him. There is just too much critical mass piled up that makes Putin being dead way more valuable than Putin being alive, for everyone including Putin's most trusted inner circle. Virtually everyone on earth gets better the moment Putin dies and that can't be a healthy thought for him and you can believe he knows that better than anyone.

The more bad news that piles up the shorter Putin's life span is and there is nothing but bad news on the way for him.

Over/under for Putin being dead is 60 days.

- There was a pincher movement on Kiev early on, but it's not moving forward now or for a while to my knowledge. If not, it's not pinching anything.
- Talks about R regrouping & resupplying as if they are the only ones doing so.
- He ignores home field advantage.

Maybe he's right, but we'll all see.

Christ almighty. That’s the “plan”? A power vacuum in a nuclear armed state? Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya are prime examples of the chaos that would occur. With nukes.

Joe has f-cked up everything he’s touched but YOU think he’s got a handle on the most dangerous situation since 1962. God help us.

A power vacuum is when you take out the leadership like for example we did in Iraq and that was a mistake.

Nobody is talking about us taking Putin out. His own inner circle will do it and there is exactly zero chance a power vacuum will ensue.

So the whole premise of your response was naive and misguided based on your misunderstanding of the meaning of my post, the basic history of middle eastern warfare, Russian history, and overall failure in your general ability to comprehend and respond to information in a constructive, meaningful manner.

Other that all that, your post was fine.

Try reading clearly. I didn’t say we would. Regardless of who does, you have absolutely no idea what will occur. The rest of what you said is your usual condescending bullshit, regardless of which screen name you currently have. Your condescending bullshit, regardless of whatever screen name you invented, is usually harmless.

But this shit is deadly serious. We need leadership, not idiotic blabbering about regime change.

If they wanted Putin gone he would be already.

for Putin to go there would need to be a massive revolution and yes that would create a vacuum. Russian politicians on balance are nuts Putin’s the best you’re gonna get.
