No. I've not been on Fb much for many reasons lately. This is just one of them. Never was nor will be a Twit. If it wasn't for @Canned Heat I wouldn't see anything from the Twitterverse. I don't like fascist companies like Titter or Gulag, fuhrertube or Fascistbook. I'd drop my Fb if there was another way to stay in contact with my friends and family, but really don't interact with them as much these days either.

Wtf.. how are tax dollars going to it? A friend showed me ONE tiktok video and that was enough. Think it was 2 years ago. I never got the app for any of these social media companies, and don't see any good reason to do so. They're making idiots out of whole generations of people.

Situational update Russia/Ukraine: We’re hearing that the destruction in Kharkov is “Syria level” — Ukrainian nationalists hide in apartment buildings, houses, schools, government buildings and basically any civilian structure you can imagine. They strike from these positions using NATO supplied weapons & ATGMs mainly, along with snipers. They purposely keep the civilians in the buildings to use them as a cover. We’ve observed this in various other cities.. mostly.. in all of them. They want to inflict as many civilian casualties as possible, in hopes of stopping Russian forces from using artillery and aviation strikes / precision weapons. The Molotov tactic isn’t observed in these cities but we can expect that to go into effect in Kiev and Odessa. Mariupol clashes are bloody, intense and lossy for the neo-nazi Battalions of the Ukrainian National Guard, Russia is utilizing a lot of drones and precision hits on fortified buildings which kill dozens of Ukrainian personnel at once. But they got smarter and now disperse into smaller groups around different apartment buildings. Azov’s strike capability in terms of artillery is nearly non-existent at this point; and most of the MRLS batteries were destroyed by Russian drone strikes.

Do you honestly not see that people warned this would happen if we tried to get Ukraine into NATO for the last 20 years... Thats why I said lets get boots on the ground and start killing and dying. That is where this goes. They see Urkaines actions in the donbas as a deal breaker on their sovereignty.... like we did with all the countries we've bombed. If you want to play the "every one we bomb is bad but nobody else can bomb anyone" game then I guess you win.
We haven't tried to get them into NATO. As for the countries you listed, we respond to attacks.

Iraq attacked a partner involved in our National Security. The second time Saddam could have stopped it by letting the UN in, but he refused. We haven't invaded any of those other countries nor have we targeted civilians. You're pretty sick. You know that? Stop conflating the evil Putin is carrying out with legitimate and limited conflicts.
OR A PERSON that knows what is and has been going on in Ukraine and is waiting to see what this is really about.
If it is simply a land grab of a country with a gov nearly in financial default and a history of violence against its own people, you should be glad on 2 counts. 1. Russia didn't just destroy the place and start over. 2. Russia has just added more mouths to feed, and a soon to be severely damaged country infrastructure, which hurts Russia.
Why was it ok to invade Syria, but not ok to invade Ukraine? Why was it ok to allow the genocide in Bosnia? Why was it ok to allow, fund, and weaponize the killing of Christians and moderate Muslims in Libya, Egypt, Syria, and elsewhere and call it the "Arab Spring"? Why is it you are just now speaking out about anything you know so little about?

What did Syria do to us for us to invade and drop bombs? We were actively fighting ISIS and al-qaeda but we decided to attack a guy that was also fighting ISIS and al-qaeda.... That one is just really weird. It's almost like we just wanted to destabilize a democratic muslim nation that had christians and jews living in relative harmory. You realize Putin is saying he only wanted to stop the nazi's in Ukraine from killing civilians?...

I know where they are going if this gets worse. My nephew was already offered a private job in Poland to run security stuff for equipment transfers. We have young American soldiers in Poland because of what Russia is doing. Providing aid and comfort to the Russians by trafficking in their propaganda is not being "objective" and doesn't make you more informed, it makes you traitorous little rubes carrying water for the enemy.
Just tell me. Syria did.... to the USA and we were forced to attack. Was it a bomb? Was it a bio weapon?
