But why care at all then? You're posting in a politics thread on a sports forum. You obviously care a ton. Why? If every election is rigged and we have literally no say in the political process there's no reason to get involved or be invested in the outcome AT ALL. Just live your life and ignore it because you can't affect it, it'll be the same either way. The only reason to participate in the political process is if your input(vote) matters to the outcome.
Dion, the large majority of people do not vote. For anything. People don't vote.
So, when you magically decide EVERYONE GETS TO VOTE!!! Because of covid...You just introduced a mountain of votes, largely from a lot of people who never vote, have no intention of voting, etc. But they got ballots now! And we're gonna mail them, or something.
That's just the most glaring example of how this particular election is vastly different than others. When you have that many more votes and ballots, it's way easier to swing the totals you need compared to if you're only working with a normal, smallish group of voters who input their votes at the booth, not in the mail.
