Breaking: Rich American pays fair share of taxes!
All institutions have giant red flags on accessing celebrity/politician records. For example, if OJ gets hospitalized and some nurse decides to look at his records then they are going to be found out. Cops that run background checks or run license plat numbers on celebs/pols will immediately be red flagged. Been that way for many years. There are many more controls in place than people think and all employees are made intimately aware that termination is the likely outcome for sticking your nose in there.
Now hacking... that's a different story. But the idea that someone with approved cleared access is going out there looking at political records and then releasing stuff is ridiculous as they'd be discovered immediately.

What if Trump wanted to release this very favorable tax return, and so leaked it through backchannels to Maddow so she could pump it up as a big scoop, just to have the rug pulled out from under her when Trump revealed them himself and the returns made Trump look like a model taxpaying citizen?

I know you really want a single payer system. However, eliminating the insurance company profits will not have a huge impact on cost. There is also no guarantee that the government will be as efficient as insurance companies. Typically, government is not very efficient. It's certainly possible that the government inefficiencies will offset the profit being saved from going to a single payer system. Free market organizations tend to be much more efficient than government because they have to be to compete.
Fundamentally, the cost of insurance is only a small part of the problem. The cost of health care itself is the largest part of the problem. If we can't figure out how to introduce competition into health care itself, there is no way health insurance will ever be affordable. For example, my son got a fractured jaw in a basketball game. He stayed two nights in the hospital and had an hour and a half surgery to repair the fracture. The medical bilIs have been around $30,000. That seems crazy to me. That is what is driving insurance costs. I don't have the answers, but government run anything is rarely the answer.
Im a Libertarian and wasnt even a Trump supporter (Rand Paul fan). I support him now because hes our president and well hes not Hillary. But since im not a hardcore Hillary or Bernie lover many people look at me as a racist and sexist and all that. My Facebook was blasted and got multiple texts from people saying how dumb I was going to look tonight once Maddow tweeted she had his taxes. Oh man tonight has been great haha.

I really wish Trump would make a statement to America and apologize. Admit he tried and will continue to do so but there is no real leadership in DC therefore Obamacare stays in place. Apologize to us for how much worse its going to get, and gurantee he will still try to negotiate something to work, but at this point the media and democrats are to blame.

Is there any political win to be had by reversing the 2013 senate Nuclear Option and going back to 60 votes? With only 8-10 seats up for re-election in 2018 versus 25 for Democrats, I would say there's a good chance the Republicans can get to 60 seats. If not, they can always play the obstruction card, which could potentially help parlay a White House victory in 2020, that the Democrats somewhat got in 2012.
Basically stating that the system of checks and balances works better when the Senate was bi-partisan and needed 60 votes, etc.
Maybe I'm an idiot, who knows.
