Sheppard needs to channel his inner Maravich

He should be shooting the ball every chance he gets, for the rest of the season. Got to make that high shooting percentage count.

Don't pass it to DJ or you'll never see the ball again.

If he steals the ball, he should run up the court and shoot a three. That way he won't risk throwing it away on a risky full court pass.

Info for those going to Spartanburg

I spoke with one of the Ad's at USC Upstate and got some good info that I will share. Tickets to all of their baseball games are free. They receive some type of grant that allows for not charging. Parking is also free and the lot is adjacent to the softball complex. Friday the 16th's opener is still during class for students, but no other activity is scheduled, so parking should be ok. Upstate does have a concession stand, so no need to grab anything prior to the game. Hope to meet some of you at the series. Go Cats!

Football What I have heard....

Mark Stoops, Mike Stoops, Vince Marrow, and Frank Buffano are all Youngstown guys.

Eric Wolford is also a Youngstown guy.

UK brought Yenser back because the line did take a step forward and then both Marques and Eli opted to return. But Wolf is an elite recruiter and is now looking for a job leaving Alabama.

Wolford is a really big-time recruiter. Deone, Barion, etc. Won Proctor from Iowa, even though he was an Iowa kid, and brought him to Bama. As soon as it was clear he was leaving, Proctor left.

This is happening.

If we lose Saturday

Kentucky should 100% win Saturday no excuses. If they do lose then it will be time to hit the panic button. I know some fans have already hit but this loss would definitely be the breaking point for myself. Idc if it’s a hostile environment, this team should blow them out like every SEC team has this season. We are about to learn a lot about this team

Coaching Carousel

Coaches come and go. It's a job with little stability and great rewards. Personally, what I don't like is back door, sneaky business. I really feel like liam should make a statement. Now, he may have communicated with the team and that would make me feel a lot better about this situation. I would like to see him address the fan base as well. Even if it to say, this is what's happening and this is one of the reasons why we coach, to get to the big game or the big job. Whatever the motivation, how about keeping us, at least marginally, updated.

Ford’s unveils all electric F-150..."The Lightning"

Seems like a pretty big deal.

https://www.nytimes.com/2021/05/19/business/ford-electric-vehicle-f-150.html

The F-150 will put electric vehicles in a totally different realm,” said Michael Ramsey, a Gartner analyst. “It’s huge for Ford, but also huge for the whole industry. If you’re going to electrify the whole vehicle fleet in the United States, the F-150 going electric is a big step in that direction.”

With an electric motor mounted on each of its axles, the vehicle will offer more torque — in effect, faster acceleration — than any previous F-150 and will be capable of towing up to 10,000 pounds. Its battery pack can power a home for about three days during an outage, according to Ford.

For contractors and other commercial truck users, the Lightning will be able to power electric saws, tools and lighting, potentially replacing or reducing the need for generators at work sites. It has up to 11 power outlets.
