Life is about Integrity & also Opportunities

Admittedly I'm Ole School. I have followed the Cats through thick and thin for over 68 years. I'm 75 so I throw this out there because I know when the attacks come at least I let you know.

As I said above Life is about Integrity & also Opportunities. So, Coen can do as he pleases, but from this day forward I consider his Integrity as zero. He has none whatsoever. How can you stand on the sidelines with VG and watch his Dad's Team play in the State Championship. How can you lie straight in the face of CB & his Family among others. Now from 60,000 feet I have no inside knowledge of what his internal relationships were with the Balance of the Staff. And I understand the CFB has become a 24/7/365 job. But to even broach coming back to Kentucky and giving your Word which = Integrity!

He has None whatsoever and in my Day your Word was your Bond which = Integrity. My guess is his handshake is that of a Wet Noodle. 2 People made him: Wandale & Levis.

Good Luck & Good Riddance's! You're of the Gen Z & that pretty much puts things in perspective.

FB Recruiting Three quarterback notes post-Coen news

** Brock Vandagriff will not waver. Have been in touch with his circle and they understand it's a business. Has a strong opportunity to showcase himself for two years as a starting SEC quarterback.

** The feeling I got yesterday in talking to some people was that folks believed Cutter Boley would still be around.

** Waiting for word on Stone Saunders but that's a commitment that we will have to wait and see how. He has gotten a lot more familiar with and closer to Kentucky over the course of his commitment but Coen was a huge reason for him coming on board given the relationship his dad and Coen had.

Way too much drama surrounding our teams.

With basketball and football it seems to be a continuous stream of bullshit news and stories that always take away from progress.

And this is exactly what people are tired of. Tired of coaching carousels. Tired of internal strife. Tired of pony up. Tired of general soreness and I haven’t seen him. Tired of sitting out games. We just need a reprieve.

I like positive stories and news that build optimism in the teams we love.

Maybe I’m just the 54 year old yelling at clouds but frankly I don’t give a damn. Things need to smooth out and let’s spend our time concentrating on wins and growth.

One more thing…I hate Tennessee.

Any OC’s from Youngstown?

After all, we all know the most important prerequisite for Stoops when it comes to hiring staff isn’t system, fit, recruiting, or competency. Gotta find another Youngstown guy! It’s the only city in America that produces good football coaches, the rest of us just don’t understand because we aren’t from Youngstown.

So is there anybody from Youngstown that coaches offense? If so, that’s who I’d put my money on.

FB Recruiting Working to confirm...

But hearing that UK is supposed to be hosting Quintavion Norman on an official visit this weekend. One person told me he is taking that visit now.

Not a lot out there about him.

He's a Class of 2024 defensive prospect, a 6'3, 205-pounds, 4.4 second 40-yard dash.

Has been in line to go to Butler Community College, so definitely off the grid.

Honorable Mention All-Region 4-7A LB in Georgia this year.

He attends Covington (Ga.) Newton

Now THIS is a rumor (Arkansas basketball)

If you do a quick Twitter search you’ll be able to find what I’m talking about.

Apparently Devo Davis and Brazille are an item. And Brazille cheated on Davis with one of the other players as well. Supposedly in the Bahamas.

My brother in law, who is a massive Arkansas fan, brought it to my attention and he believes it.

Just thought I’d share…

Refuse to Lose

Y’all remember this? It was on the back of the Wall/Cousins teams jerseys. It was the motto Cal coached and his guys played by. That’s what’s missing. I’m not sure anyone associated with the program lives by that any longer. But, that’s exactly the chip on the shoulder the program had and desperately needs to find. No matter what just bulldoze the other team.

Anyway, it just hit me how for a very long time here cal could take the elite talent and mold them to play to win at all costs. It was special. I sure wish they’d find that again.

Go cats.

Greatest comedy of my childhood thanks to PBS. Who was the best of the ensemble?

Cleese and Chapman are so close.

Sometimes I think THIS is What We're Missing

Literally at the 1 second mark- the first few seconds of the video.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist in the silver jerseys, just pure HEART, PRIDE, letting the opponent know right to their face, I am BEATING YOU DOWN today.

Would love one of our guys to go nose to nose with someone tonight, talk $hit to their face, set the tone that we're Kentucky Basketball and we don't back down...ever.
