No scrutiny out there at all.
People in the great NW really don’t care about hoops much outside Zags and the thought of bringing back the SuperSonics one day.
Huskies also play mostly zone which will help hide some of his defensive deficiencies.
Plus he can team up with Brooks and lament all their “suffering” while as a Wildcat.

It's very telling when 2 UK starters for several seasons end up at Washington.
Good spot for him. I honestly didn’t want to listen to the storylines when we played them if he went back to Georgia.
Brooks is gonna keep on playing? Wheeler looked at UGA which was insanity and now looking to the polar opposite which maybe his best move.

We took Away Terrence Jones from them.
Although he wasn't allowed to play, UK also took Enes from them.
Him and Brooks can talk about how awful UK was. Seems like neither of them appreciated the opportunity they got here.

Washington's PG is the one that went to Arkansas, Menifield. They are losing several guards to transfer so Wheeler makes sense considering he'll get all the minutes he wants.
Hope they teach him how to avoid those nasty back screens. Could end his career.

I think he did learn. That's why he was always one of the last ones back to the other end. Used the ball as his protection from screens.

Don't forget the Enes Kanter controversy too. They teamed up with Emmert to keep him out of CBB that year or UK likely wins #8 a year earlier.
I'm trying to picture how a 5'8 guard is a good fit for a zone heavy team? Any/everyone is going to shoot over him. He can't shoot on the other end.....this is just weird and basically hyping a brand transfer to your fans because you couldn't recruit the PG position better.
Where was Brooks going? He was mediocre and dad stopped chirping after Kentucky solidified making the NCAA's and Toppin played well while Brooks was Keion he's always been--no defense, a few good highlight plays and inability to make 3pt shots.
