Our UK is the bigger more prominent school, not even close, it's like if basketball in KY were sharing a meal plate, we eat 2/3's of the steak and potatoes and most of the desert. Louisivlle is the underfeed step child. I usually root for the under-dog, in life, in politics, in non-UK sports events. Toss in that a bigger percentage of Louisville fans are Black demographic, and if I were not a born and raised Kentucky fan, I would feel sorry for them and probably root for them like I do for Auburn against Alabama. Guess what? I can't find any language that says he isn't responsible if a staff member does something illegal/breaks NCAA rules.

Sections 7.b.i-xii outline what "cause" for termination is. It's all the usual stuff…don't break the law, don't break the rules, etc.

It's the two paragraphs after that are interesting (on page 14). They say almost exactly the opposite of what Pitino's agreement says. Cal's contract explicitly says that if he is overseeing assistants who engage in Major Violations and he either knew, or should have known, then that is cause for termination. Absolutely no "get out of jail free card" for Cal.
