For the love of all things good and holy, please spare us your lectures on morality. Nobody cares.
It does not make anybody less of a fan because they don't share your holier than thou views on how you believe we should all love and support rival schools.
Reality: That is not how it is. It's not that way for them, it's not that way for us. It's not that way for the California schools, the North Carolina schools, the Virginia schools, Iowa schools, Alabama schools, Georgia schools, or any major programs that come to mind.
If tragedy struck, rivalry is laid to the side, but this isn't some kind of matter of death and destruction, this is a rival school getting caught not playing by the rules (ironically, after saying that UK doesn't play by the rules for years).
If you don't like it, leave. It's simple, but don't come here to lecture any of us.

I can't conjure up any real animus in my heart over sports - I have trouble talking in terms of good and evil with players and programs, even ones I personally don't care for. There are just bigger things to get indignant about in the world, we'd like a lot of these kids if they played for us, etc. I even get along with all but one of the Louisville fans on the main board.
BUT
This particular situation is a fruit that's a little too sweet to resist, because from the very minute Cal was hired, they have not taken a single pause in hurling accusation after accusation at our coach based on hearsay - traveling to all corners of the internet to spread their gospel. They have spent more energy and emotion over the past 6 years attacking Cal and UK than on supporting their own team. And yet in that time, we've had the cleanest group of kids of any big dog program, while they've had more sex scandals than wins against us even though we play annually.
So while I'm not going to return their childishness by gloating over on their board, and I don't take any joy in any families destroyed over this news, I am having a heck of a time wiping off the slight grin that's been stuck on me all day. And it's for the fans.

Blakeney's already said nothing happened. None of the recruits who went elsewhere are gonna spill the beans, because they're scared they might be ruled ineligible. And do you honestly think any of the former UL players are gonna tell the truth LMAO? Behanan? Maybe, because they kicked him off the team, but I doubt it. They don't wanna get their school in trouble. Gonna have to find that money trail, and confirm those texts were from Mcgee. This may be a situation were UL gets in trouble 4 or 5 years down the road when a recruit squeals after their college eligibilty is over.

When you do this keep in mind that 10% of gross revenue for the book is going to a woman who freely admitted to pimping out all three of her daughters from the time they were teenagers and had no problem outing them in this book for what will be a measly 5-figure payday...
