Yeah, I would take Oscar back, even with his negative stats, he's still a net positive player, I just don't trust Cal to use him, or coach him the right way. The paint would be clogged again.
To be fair, they’ve also gone nowhere with Oscar starting. It seems pretty crazy for anyone to think it’s going to be any different with or without Oscar. As it currently stands, there’s absolutely no depth and hardly any (if at all) experience.

Remember back when Gonzocat and a few of his naïve friends used to say that Kentucky would be successful if we just had a few longer retention guys. They said we needed a sample size to see if it could be done.
I get the feeling Cal thinks this is a good plan. Well, it is if you think about what gets his motor going, but for winning the SEC, the SECT and the NCAAT, this is not a good plan. There are too many things that have to go perfect for a new, young team to win at this level and that includes all the freshmen performing up to expectations and I just don't see that happening.

Oscar got abused at the end of the 2022 season once coaches figured him out. Then he got abused all year long in 2022/23.
