BTw yes Russia has the Donbas. The people there are heavily favored toward Russia and Ukraine has done ziltch to quell Russias ability to maintain it. you guys live and think this is the Cold War. It’s not. It’s a hot war in europe with other fronts emerging such as Iran and North Korea. It’s going to get far worse before it gets better unless some negotiations are done.

Regans last film role was 1964, he was then governor from 67-75 and in 80 became president. You're splitting hairs. As for Zelensky, he was a comedian. He did stupid things in our eyes. Did it ever occur to you that his comedic actions were appreciated and not offensive in the Ukrainian culture? Why do you think you get to define him by American standards? Thats your main problem. You are extraordinarily arrogant. Just so you know, the Ukrainian people love the man, they don't give a damn what you think and they never invited you to vote.

What exactly is your case? All you did is compare zelensky and Reagan by saying “Reagan says hello”. I deduct from your lack of verbiage that you are comparing two NATIONAL leaders. My point far more well positioned was that Reagan didnt go from actor to national leader overnight. He was governor of a big state before he became commander and chief of our armed forces. What did zelensky do? He was still an actor the year before he became president. Reagan was also in the military for many years before his stint in acting. Again you show your inability to provide any coherence to the subject. Zelensky is the puppet of all puppets. Hes a lifetime actor/comedian. Its like jerry Seinfeld going from doing stand up to the next year president. Lol at you guys.

Ran again and won in 1980

That statement from you no eastern Ukrainians do not think zelensky is funny they do not love this man. They were fighting for independence while zelensky was dong playing a piano. Ukraine is a vast diverse nation of haves and have nots. And when you go east of the dnipro river its another world. The workd of the have nots. The world of an oppressed people by zelensky and others who preceded him in Ukraine. The will of those people were toppled by the same group zelensky represents.

My point is that regardless of whatever one's career was before being a political leader was in no way makes you incapable of being stellar at polit leadership. RR was a example. It's impossible for a comparison to be perfect, but both made the transition from similar backgrounds. Get it? I'd guess not.

Picking at the details of each's transition avoids the outcome of successfully doing it. But continue picking.

So he had a 20 years "stint" as an actor. What longer "stint" did he have? It's what he was known for when in ran for office. Saying it was his "career" or "profession" prior to politics is way more accurate. Z in under 45. How the hell is he going to have as varied a background as RR? Z has done & is doing a great job but you want nothing better than to tear him down.

Like I asked. What is your case? What is your point? Reagan and zelensky are terrible comparisons. Reagan was much more than an actor. He served nearly 10 years in the military. He was a politician in Hollywood before public life. He was a spokesperson for major companies and politicians. There is no comparison.

zelensky was a professional clown until he became Ukrainian presidentHe didnt serve his country, he wasnt involved in politics. He's multiplied his net worth by 10X while his countrymen die by 1000's when he knew he should of negotiated in May. He took the money to keep the war going even though he knew he'd lost. He isn't asking for us to nuke Russia and for nato planes to get involved because he's winning. I would never allow people to die for me to make money.

I don’t know how can even begin to evaluate zelensky. He’s pled for money that’s the only thing he’s done. He was begging for money before the war and will beg after if he survives it. Ukraine is a black hole of American spending. When that country is in shambles the USA has zero obligation to send billions in taxpayer money to rebuild but we will. Even though we won’t touch Africa, and Latin America with aid.

He had a 30 year stint as a politician my man. He was govenor or running for president from mid sixties to the 90s. The man was in politics 10 years before he ran for president. He wasn’t in movies one year and the president next. And you answer your own question here “Z in under 45. How the hell is he going to have as varied a background as RR?”. He shouldn’t be president. He’s a neophyte. Someone else should be in charge. The problem is the way the electorate has been rearranged in Ukraine is to elect an inexperienced deer in the headlights. If they had a leader who could remember the Cold War they would probably have worked this out by now. Zelensky isn’t like anything they’ve had before. Zelensky says many cities may need to be abandoned due to lack of electric or water. I'm sure Europe can handle millions more of refugees. We just need to keep funding this until every male in Ukraine is dead and then we can marry their women.
