I have a hard time believing FEMA fired someone without proper paperwork.
One thing that concerns me, if Trump does what he needs to do, is there is going to be some short term pain associated with resetting the country. Like dieting, exercise, work, etc. sometimes there is some short term inconvenience in pursuit of the greater goal.
Given the instant gratification world we live in, I’m concerned 2 years to midterm or 4 years to the next presidential election isn’t going to be enough for the reset to bounce back. Pulling trillions of dollars of wasteful government spending out of the economy can happen quick, but incentivizing that spending by private business and individuals through tax cuts and policy will take time.
So all that said, the Trump admin just needs to completely dismantle the federal government so it can’t be easily rebuilt if the communist democrats take back control.
Not sure how to feel about this. Seems like an off the wall pick. Obviously would be better than Mayorkis (duh)
This is an example of media bias/bullshit. I am the biggest dog lover in the world. Every dog I've ever owned had to be put down. I chose to let the vet do the job, but I also know many many people will do the deed themselves. They are trying to make it out like she murdered her dog for no reason. There was a reason she put her dog down, health, age or whatever, she chose to do it. STOP falling for media bullshit.
Not sure but I do know dogs are not pets to farmers, ranch owners and so on. They have to earn their keep and if not, they put them down. Sounds crazy but it's no different than raising beef or pork, or any farm animal, they are there for a reason and if they do not perform that's money out of their pockets. Could I have done that, hell no I would have taken it somewhere for adoption, but we also know how that ends many times. Understand I was not calling @gollumcat out about this, it was how the media ran with it.Wasn't it because the dog was untrainable or something?
That's because despite if acolytes admit it, by Trump guaranteeing an end to the War in Ukraine before he takes office, he already gave considerable leverage to Russia in negotiations as there is now political pressure on him to follow through on his promise.
Russia has now amassed 50,000 troops and has engaged in the most brutal drone warfare of the war. This is their time to exert mass casualties and damage as to compound leverage in negotiations.
As has been said repeatedly and consistently over the years, Trump’s supporters take him seriously, not literally. You lefties take him literally (or assign you own meaning to his words to fit your views), not seriously.
If you’re still hanging on every one of Trump’s words after all these years, that’s your problem. He’s a salesman, speaking out of his ass half the time.
Whether the war is over before he takes office, or shortly after, no one is going to care as one as he’s not committing more US resources and escalating the conflict.
Does it matter? As long as the Governor of those states is a Republican, then the replacement will be a Republican or am I wrong about that?Trump needs to stop picking congressman for cabinet positions...we need to keep that majority
For sure she is a snake. Either she sold her soul or she had a personal problem with Trump and was trying to sway election or was hoping he would get mad from it and lash out.The consensus by people in the "biz" is that Selzer and Lichtman were more than likely "purchased"
AOC has a law degree, right? I mean, law school isn't exactly engineering, but you'd have to have a pretty good memory I would think. Of course memory skills and intelligence CAN be independent from one another, but in law school, you'd have to appropriately apply what you've memorized so... But she definitely comes across as a dim bulb. Just obvious little things, like sentence structure, and low function verbal skills etc.
Davey Crockett was a member of the House, and he could BARELY read or write so it's not impossible.
I'm guessing it was her face and kicking body that landed that gig. Had nothing to do with economics. And how pathetic is it that a college grad with a degree in Economics was working as a bartender. Not as a second/part-time gig to pay the bills in excruciatingly expense NYC but as the only job.Well her Economics degree landed her a sweet bartending gig, so there is that.
I've been in a losing battle trying to keep up with this thread. I might post something that was already mentioned, but like pages and pages away from where I'm at. If I waited until I finished getting caught up, I'd forget all the stuff I wanted to post about 😆.Maybe because this thread has 5 pages of posts in just 6 hours... 12-15 by days end, and there are a lot of reposts of the same content by people that don't see or bother to read each other's posts. I don't have the time to keep up with it anymore, though I'd like to.

It's either now or never. Hell, sometimes I hit quote on a post near the top of the page, but by the time I get to the bottom, I forgot what I was going to say. So I take it easy on duplicate posts. There's just less likes going out to the repeaters 😆.
Yeah, your anecdotal experience is obviously universal. Sure. More people know Mormons than just you.More ignorance from you. My best friend is a Mormon and his whole family is as MAGA as I am. And all their friends are too. By the way, he is constantly bugging me to do a podcast since he's one of the most boisterous, blunt people I know. Trump is right up his alley.
So much for that theory.
You really should stop bleating like a shorn sheep. It's embarrassing.
Isn't there already someone in the White House? Why isn't he doing something about this? Is the Democrat Party powerless? That's because despite if acolytes admit it, by Trump guaranteeing an end to the War in Ukraine before he takes office, he already gave considerable leverage to Russia in negotiations as there is now political pressure on him to follow through on his promise.

55, I hope you understand I was being sarcastic. I think my record here will confirm I’m not swayed by any media bullshit. This is an example of media bias/bullshit. PP winning and ousting Trudeau would be the icing on the cake.Yet another example of the STUPIDITY of Liberals.
Evidently "How do I move to Canada?" is trending on Twitter (and I'm THRILLED!).
However, the dumbazz Libs haven't bothered to notice that Canada is in the middle of its own political season, and Pierre P and the conservatives are TROUNCING Trudeau and the Libs.
Some folks are gonna be really surprised lol:

Lacks credibility? How silly. The positive results of his policies (which we already saw in the first term) are the credibility.I'll give you this. If you are Trump follower, you cannot take him literally. Nothing he says can be actually interpreted as truth. The problem is, however, that it also means that he lacks credibility on any given comment. Another reason that's a poor leader, but that's neither here nor there.
I like how she’s talking to him in the tone you’d use to talk a toddler into eating their veggies.
There goes Disney using DEI on a past character again.
So the same Dim votes jump happened in both the Prez & Senate race but Trump was ahead enough to hang on. Thanks.
I think he wants to replace DeWIne - executive job.Could be wrong but I can't see DeWine appointing him to fill the term.
She told the reason. She said they had to put it down because it was dangerously aggressive and resisted the training needed to be a farm dog. Could they have tried passing it off to somebody else? maybe, but who would want that? This is an example of media bias/bullshit. I am the biggest dog lover in the world. Is he talking Project 2025 or something else?
I heard Trump doesn't want government money as government people become involved & try to screw his plans up - as apparently happened in 2016.I heard the other day from a friend (don't know if it's true) that the gov't pays for the transition (team) after a certain date. Don't know what that date is....so many days before inauguration...so many days after election....don't know. So Trump went ahead with it and is paying for it himself. Out of pocket or campaign funds....not sure.
Yes it will be a Republican, but if the Governor is more aligned with the likes of a Mitch McConnell than he is Trump, then that pick could be a horrendous one.Does it matter? As long as the Governor of those states is a Republican, then the replacement will be a Republican or am I wrong about that?
I was watching Jack Posobiec a little bit ago and he was talking about getting investors for him and his brother to buy MSNBC. I wasn't sure if he was joking about it. I looked up MSNBC being for sale and sure enough, Comcast is selling it.
