Pretty much every day I see sh*t like this and think, 'What the holy f***?' What is wrong with people? Are parents going to allow their 6 and 7 YO kids to be brainwashed into a mental condition? Into thinking that they were somehow born 'wrong'? Are they going to meekly stand by and let 'educated' administrators (whose kids probably go to private schools) approve teaching their 9 YO about gay sex, masturbation, etc.? Really - WTF? When the public school system as a whole has been sliding down the worldwide rankings in teaching reading, writing, arithmetic, science, etc.? Is there any wonder why? We're not going to teach something that's racist like mathematics so we can teach your 9 year old kid how to masturbate and have gay sex. Makes a lot of sense.

And someone educated at an Ivy law school CAN'T provide a definition of 'woman'? More like WON'T so she doesn't reveal her true feelings about gender fluidity, etc. While other judges across the country have sentenced child pornographers to less than the recommended guideline, she's been a most egregious offender. Now, she won't even give a straight answer to define 'woman'? Dems won't release her case transcripts? My God, they went back 20+ years into Kavanaugh's life and dug up fake witnesses to fake crimes but they won't release her actual work product as a federal judge while she's being vetted for the SCOTUS?

I'm within 5 years of retiring (hopefully) and I'm seriously considering living abroad once I retire. If it weren't for children and grandchildren living close by, it wouldn't even be a hard decision. Not sure there's anywhere better but, damn, I'm sure gonna try to find somewhere that isn't completely off the rails.

This is normal and in swimming and not that big of a deal but what it proves is Thomas is a loser. If you’ve already won a gold or a national championship you give your 5th place to the other person and wait for yours in the mail.

When I coached swim we nearly always told our kids to let the other kid have the medal unless it was a kids first medal or something.

Congress dicked around and hasn't changed the fuel tax since like 93. So the funding for transportation infrastructure is massively behind. With electric cars taking over vmt is the only fair way to fill the fuel tax gap. The simplest solution that would eliminate all this bullshit is simply to eliminate "men's and women's" divisions and have only ONE division -- the human division. Whether you were born a dude or a chick, or whether you were born a dude who lopped off his dick or born a chick who had one sewn on, everybody competes in one division in all sports and if you're fast enough or strong enough then you win.

Why does this issue have to be black/white; either/or?

I have friends and family with transgender kids, think they should have every right to a happy life that anyone else does, and should not be discriminated against, hope we all agree with that. They are not crazy, most are very unhappy people trying to become happy, we should support that ideal.

But . . . the one exception is competition in athletics, it is also not hard for me to admit I would be severely chafed if my two daughters were competing for a big trophy, e.g., state or NCAA championship, for which they had worked all their life, only to see them lose out to a transgender male who was becoming a female. I think most of us would feel the same way. And I really don't think that makes me a bigot.

FWIW, there are really very very few transgender athletes competing and winning titles, this is a fairly uncommon situation. But where did nuance go in America? Seems in very short supply these days.
