hey moron, WI legislature is controlled the by GoP. The courts had to take control of the redistricting from them because they were creating such heavily packed districts against the state constitution. All SCOTUS did was tell the WI courts to try again to reach an agreement instead of just letting the Governor pick the map. WI is considered the most heavily gerrymandered state because of the GoP. in the last election the vote breakdown was almost 50/50 but the GoP got 61 of 99 state house seats and 21 of 33 state senate because of gerrymandering. they got 6 of 10 federal seats. The ruling will have no effect on the GoP congressional seats despite the content of the recently posted tweets. Scotus ruled against the GoP on that.

There's already tons of lawsuits in Ohio. The Ohio courts have to approve the redistricting maps and so far have rejected everything the GoP has put forward. It won't be resolved anytime soon because the Republicans aren't going to stop drawing up gerrymandered maps. Last week both sides hired outside consultants to draw up new maps to try and break the stalemate. The primary is supposed to be in 5 weeks and they don't have official candidates yet. It's a shitshow

I have 2 daughters. Am I supposed to freak out if they lose a swimming match? Wtf is wrong with people. Sports is entertainment. My kids play sports to stay healthy, not so I can base my life around whether they win or lose.

If you feel it is just their tough luck to lose a national championship to a man when they have probably been working at that goal most of their lives, I really feel sorry for them.
If you don't think that will affect them for a long time, maybe even the rest of their lives, then I have no doubt the only competitive sports you ever played was on the PlayStation.

Sports scholarships are a terrible idea. Why should little Johnny get to go to college because he was born six inches taller than little Larry? They’re just a bandaid on privileged college admission that should be available to everyone. The only reason swimming scholarships exist is because football, basketball, and baseball ones were given.
