Many people I work with think I'm a madman but I know for a fact this virus is 90 percent political. The democrats and their media puppets have even admitted themselves it on a few occasions if you were paying attention

Good thing this stay at home order MAY save the .05% that might otherwise die (assuming they don't eventually get it when they have to come out of their cave at some point).

Wonder what the increased deaths are in categories like suicide, heart attack, stroke, etc are during this period of increased risk for those people?

The net lives saved here will be slim, if any at all. In no way shape form or fashion worth shutting down our society and imploding our economy

Good to see soon as the bill passed that scores of companies laid off workers, who will now be on unemployment/vacation and paid more than if they were working.

Can you imagine the orgasm Andy has thinking of the tax raise he can push for? While simultaneously severely underfunding the retirement again, of course

I hope ICE is waiting for them.
"Checks for free government corona money. Line forms at 8:00a.m." And then.......

Well there you have it congress busted us out- planned bankruptcy like you saw in the sopranos. Trump of course had no choice but to go along with it because these left wing governors shut the economy down. What an absolute fiasco. The country will never recover from printing money like this. These people are not this stupid it's being done on purpose

when things turn into Venezuela here where are you gonna go? I'm thinking maybe Thailand I have an uncle there. Cost of living is low and it's beautiful

Don't worry, I was reassured by an actrually leftist know it all in the corona virus thread that we will save more lives than we lose because of the recession.

All those deaths due to suicide will be offset by lives saved in traffic and other areas, it's well understood by psychologists/economists going over the data for a 100 years, there's no debate, a recession depression is good for you!

.....these people.... o_O

No ones going to kill themselves other than the people stuck left working with no forms of entertainment while we send half our paychecks to Washington to be redistributed amongst the non essentials.

No matter your particular party affiliation or preference in basketball team, we are all incredibly fortunate to have Andy Beshear and John Calipari as leaders/ambassadors of this state.

Both are stand up guys who you can tell care deeply about our state and its people.

How is this anything less than pure socialism? Redistribution of wealth some people get to work and others don't? It's outrageous

I encourage you all to write to write to your senators and congressmen at least in your states if you're run by a dem governor which you in Kentucky are somehow and me in New York/jersey

Glad Beshear is governor. Should save thousands of dollars by not filing a lawsuit every time he turns around. He does seem to be doing a good job with the virus situation.

Ole Govna not too happy with Tennessee...I mean he's really biting his tongue from ripping them a new one...
I've been on conference calls the last few hours - what did Andy say today?
Tennessee is full of a bunch of dirty bat soup eating orange commies...or something like that...
I telephoned my daughter this afternoon, who lives on the KY-TN-VA border. She follows TN politics, but not so much KY. Anyway, she told me there's a growing faction of Tennesseans who really, really wish Andy Beshear had been elected in the Volunteer State. More and more folks hating on the TN governor. I filled her in on the dislike for Matt Bevin.

Yea, that's why Trump banned non-US citizen travelers from China Jan. 31. No protective measures my a$$.

Here's DeBlazio: "Since I’m encouraging New Yorkers to go on with your lives + get out on the town despite Coronavirus, I thought I would offer some suggestions," de Blasio tweeted on March 2. "Here’s the first: thru Thurs 3/5 go see The Traitor [at Lincoln Center]. If The Wire was a true story + set in Italy, it would be this film." Now just where is the worst CV19 outbreak, DA?
It was already here by then. Regardless of what few measures were taken he continued to minimize the problem thus allowing it to spread more easily.

You can tell Andy's communication/pr team working overtime. And I don't mean just making creepy memes and t-shirts.

Let's look at Tennessee, since Andy dutifully guided us on a much better path:

They tested 3x more people than ky. They have 3x more people. They have 3 major urban areas whereas we have 1.

They have 3.5x our confirmed cases. And only 3 deaths.

What am I missing? Sounds like TN better step up their meme game.
