"The Constitution provides that the House of Representatives shall have the sole Power of Impeachment."

That is the entire point and what most have been trying to explain. The Constitution vests the impeachment power in the House as an institution, as a whole, not in just the speaker or the majority party.

The House only acts as an institution when it takes a full House vote, something that Pelosi has desperately been avoiding.

Duh...but in a lot of ways, not for the better. Can you guard anything working from home? Can you clean anything working from home? Can you represent your agency personally working from home?

Do you have ANY idea of the drop in worker productivity? telework versus those who actually show up to work? I will save your response. No you don't. Yeah those type jobs along with administrative personnel among others need to be in the office a lot and rotate. If not it is scamming and getting paid for it. You are arguing for the sake of arguing.
You sound like a jealous child. I guess you think multi-billion $ companies make decisions that aren't beneficial to their bottom lines. FYI, WFH as we call it started out very small. Most managers didn't trust it, said things like you're saying... but it has worked so well that it has expanded exponentially and now a full 50% of the workforce participates. But go ahead and tell me what I don't know.

"those job types"?

Again, I work with fellow professionals, not jack-leg rednecks like yourself. It comes down to management. We have productivity requirements and deadlines to meet, have to answer to higher ups who have to do the same. People who don't produce, don't last. There are those who choose to come to the office because home is too distracting for them. Bottom line, productivity expectations aren't set or graded on a curve depending on from where you work. We have deliverables and are graded on meeting them.

Another secret for you...many who are working from home end up working more, not fewer hours Moms who have kids in school might take off an hour in the afternoon to get the kids home and settled...then back to work. As I said it can be a blessing and a curse.

But I'll pass along your concerns.

I have an option to WFH 1-2 days weekly, but prefer coming in to the office for a couple reasons. For one, maintaining separation between home and work is huge. Next, I enjoy getting out of the house and staying active. Finally, I actually earn a few extra $ above and beyond my normal salary with Job Spotter check-ins and picking up loose change.

I'd like to go into the office a couple times a week too but we don't have a service delivery location where I live. This time of year I'm on the road 4 days a week so it doesn't make a ton of difference, but I'm sure I will miss it next year.

Adam Schiff orchestrated a complaint from a third party that directly contradicts contemporaneous evidence to set up secret hearings to try and impeach a president behind closed doors. That should scare any American.

Could you imagine if I just claimed someone had drugs on them, with no evidence, that person could somehow prove they didn’t have drugs on them in direct contradiction to my claim, yet the cops still launched a full scale drug investigation into the person interviewing anyone they could find to flame that person had drugs on them, while giving no opportunity for the accused to cross examine the self interested parties accusing the person of having drugs?

We killed the #2 isis guy?

Man libs are gonna be so mad.

There was a mass shooting in Texas, and ZERO news about it. Hint: Spanish name.

I honestly think mass shootings have become so ingrained into the culture here, that it takes something special for them to be huge news anymore - like a school for example. Someone shoots up an off-campus party in a college town? Meh.

HRC was never given immunity. Try again.
TEAM. I think you just refuse to process uncomfortable information. Watching you go back in forth to being ungodly loyal to Hillary to being outraged at Trump is humorous though.

Again, lazy. DOJ gave immunity to 5 staff members and I copied the article about the IT guy that was granted so he could re-do his testimony to avoid perjuring. And this was quite a comment from the federal judge regarding Cheryl Mills being given immunity.
During a hearing in D.C. on Friday, U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth made the comment about Mills, Clinton's former chief of staff, during his opening remarks, referring to when he read the DOJ inspector general report.

"I had myself found that Cheryl Mills had committed perjury and lied under oath in a published opinion I had issued in a Judicial Watch case where I found her unworthy of belief, and I was quite shocked to find out she had been given immunity in — by the Justice Department in the Hillary Clinton email case," Lamberth said. "So I did not know that until I read the IG report and learned that and that she had accompanied the Secretary to her interview."

Working from home on a full time basis is for women and millennials.

And important people. Almost the entire executive team at my current company works remotely (even the COO) and all of us are 40+. Why should I drive to work to spend 9 hours on conference calls? I can do that anywhere.

Not to mention, office space Is ****ing expensive.

The reason she doesn't want a vote is that she knows the Reps aren't going to go along with her and a number of the Dems are from districts that Trump carried in the last election. Probably get a bunch of "present" votes.

Those bastards have done absolutely nothing to help this country in the last 3 years. All of their efforts have been directed at stifling the duly elected President and the Constitution be damned.

It's like a room full of fuzz/rq's up there.

That's because you're a lib. If you weren't you would know the IDENTITY of the shooter is what makes the difference in how it's treated by the media. If it doesn't advance the narrative that white men are evil, it gets no traction.

"Everyone else"...yet 55% says he should be impeached.

It's actually 51% and even that was misrepresented.

Fox News pollster Braun Research misrepresented impeachment poll: analysis

https://nypost.com/2019/10/12/fox-n...rch-misrepresented-impeachment-poll-analysis/

The poll released last week by Fox News that claimed most Americans favor the impeachment of President Trump underrepresented Republican and independent voters, The Post has found.

The poll said 51% of voters were in favor of Trump’s impeachment and removal from office, while 40% did not want him impeached.

Princeton, New Jersey, pollster Braun Research, which conducted the survey, noted 48% of its respondents were Democrats. But the actual breakdown of party affiliation is 31% Democrat, 29% Republican and 38% independent, according to Gallup.

A poll weighted for party affiliation would have concluded that 44.9% favored impeachment and 44.4% opposed it, a Post analysis has concluded.

The poll prompted Trump to tweet: “Whoever [Fox News’] Pollster is, they suck.”

Braun could not be reached for comment.

When you look at some Islamic beliefs culturally and historically on dogs, Trump’s description of al-Baghdadi’s death is a great insult to ISIS and the fact that a K-9 was a significant factor leading up to his death makes it even sweeter

‘This Is Us’ Star Chrissy Metz: You can live ‘a healthy life’ at an ‘unconventional size’

People are like, ‘Wait, what? You got your blood work done and you have like great, perfect cholesterol? Like, it doesn’t make sense. I’m like, ‘I want you to know it’s real,'” she continued. “Like, contrary to popular belief or what we’re told about what looks healthy or what doesn’t look healthy.”
For herself, maintaining a healthy lifestyle is a day-by-day challenge. “Some days I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m definitely eating my feelings.’ And then some days I’m like, ‘Yeah, when my heart is full, I’m not hungry.’ Right, so there’s those kinds of thoughts, like, ‘Oh, what is the psychology behind it?’ So, I don’t know. Do I wanna take care of my body and live a healthy life? Absolutely. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t do it at an unconventional size.”

I'm not even making fun of this poor woman. Just commenting on how far this BS culture we live in has gone. You can literally be killing yourself and be delusional about it while getting cheered on.

Welcome to use of confidential informants and cooperating witnesses in drug prosecutions. This is exactly how the DEA works.

And you're right, every citizen should be terrified

You are quite the foolish person...(This conversation was government centered.) uh, the government is NOT a business. It does NOT operate for profit, very few government employees employ any profitability skills (Except what they can extract in the form of pay.). They really do not care about being useful AND, government employees have no need nor should they EVER be allowed union actions of any kind. It is abused and totally not legal. (It never has been but the lobby is very powerful and they donate a lot of dough to the right people.)

If you want to go the private sector I'd dare state you'd lose their too. I charge for that and yeah, I do have the credentials to charge for it, not that it matters. (Real world results)

Your premise was flawed from the beginning but I have already observed, you like to see how well you type no matter if you are addressing anything relevant to the conversation. It sounded good to you...

I see why you are not relevant in this forum and are very probably a do nothing in real life. You seem to be all (type) or talk. It's not worth much....

Oh, and if a jack-leg redneck is the opposite of you, color me that and proud of it...Thanks a bunch!

Are you a Vet ole rqa?

has corroborated that Trump violated the Constitution of the United States.

Where? Because the article you linked says nothing of the sort. Mind quoting Vindman's exact words?

Because according to his opening statement he admits that the transcript is accurate, and according to the transcript Trump didn't "violate the Constitution of the United States".

Just because Vindman disagrees with Trump's foreign policy doesn't mean Trump violated anything. Vindman has a right to his opinion but unfortunately for him, Trump was elected president and gets ultimate foreign policy decision making.

Trashing a decorated vet that went into battle for our country is a bad look for our POTUS and his minions in the GOP. But then again, Trump trashed a veteran who was a POW so nothing surprises me anymore.

DC needs an enema to crap away the Socialist Libs and fake Conservatives.
