Fail. Try harder loser
Good lord, the left *really* can't meme.

Disgusting, Bernie Sanders using his public office to leverage business opportunity so he can profit. Who knows what he would do in the presidency.

Not sure if it’s surprising or sad or just par for the course that Trump supporters are BEGGING for the Notre Dame Fire to be a deliberate act.

Religion sucks.

So how many Trump opponents are begging for such? Please give us the numbers of both? 3? 7? Wow!!

In the words of Jim and Tammy Faye Baker...."money is the root of ALL evils" yet that's the first plate they pass around..Sunday morning pew setters are some of the biggest hypocrites around, and I know a few..I'm not anti Christ at all, I just don't it takes "giving " in a cult will get you to heaven..such fools

Yep. Churches are profit centers. None of them should be tax exempt.

Good morning conservatives . . . campaign promises broken . . .

On Day One, we will begin working on an impenetrable, physical, tall, powerful, beautiful southern border wall. We will use the best technology, including above- and below-ground sensors. That’s the tunnels. Remember that. Above and below. Above- and below- ground sensors, towers, aerial surveillance and manpower to supplement the wall, find and dislocate tunnels and keep out criminal cartels and Mexico, you know that, will work with us. I really believe it. Mexico will work with us. I absolutely believe it.

That’s a very penetrate metal fence and you’re paying for it. Does this piss you off?

absolutely, I'm catholic (non practicing), but catholic charities (for one) bring thousands into the USA every year from third world countries on a "church mission" ONLY to dump them on the taxpayers of this country to support..To me ,what's the difference in that and illegal immigration. I have no problem with any church ( cult ) do gooders doing what they think will get them to the pearly gates.. BUT NOT ON MY TAXPAYING DIME!! Biggest cult sucking tax exempt place here in Louisville is South East. Those suckers pay mucho for their higher ups in the group to live in high end homes, drive higher end cars, and dress to the nines PLUS get to dictate who and where their contributions go. They just recently purchased a house in my hood for one of their own. He adopted two from Haiti and parades them around like look what I did. Thousands of our own in this country need adopting yet he choose Haiti. Why, because it makes the cult " South East Christian, and let's not forget the tax exempt plus other benefits they receive.. Just last year I stood in line at a pool supply place (Leslies) while some guy argued he was charged tax and should not have been and he wanted the tax money back..30 minutes I waited only to hear it was only around ten bucks or so ONLY to see it was for a pool solar cover. I asked him as he was leaving, why in the world would SEC need a solar cover for a pool. He never answered and I only got a glare. He as well as thousand use their cults tax exemption for their personal use.. I think it all needs to end..tax exemption that is for any all church's..JMO

Look for your nearest Latin Mass and return/come to the Church Christ established.

Pax Christi

Brandon you've been a great poster on religion - honest and informative. I have no problem with anyone who is religious. I've been Catholic and Mormon and have me plenty of awesome people. I just feel most leadership takes advantage of people and funnels money inappropriately.

No, most just want info.

We still have no info, btw. No facts at all. Zilch. That's odd. In fact, more than one French official has ruled it an "accident". One particular official, after saying it was an accident, explained that investigators had yet to get inside the building because it wasn't safe yet. But she knows it was an accident, and numerous media reported that as fact.

If it weren't for this incident, a ton of people would not have known about the daily church attacks all over France. That's very relevant news that journalists should cover, yet it's been suppressed. Purposely. Why?

Also yellow vest protests are suspiciously not covered by media. That particular stunt is crazy, and certainly worthy of regular news coverage.

I honestly don’t care. It’s an old building, it burned down, nobody got hurt.

Again - religion sucks.
Dodging the question as to the number of Trump supporters & opponents hoping the fire was deliberate. No data, just throwing BS out there. So little of you. ND is great history & art regardless of religion. If you can't see that or care about that, again, so little of you.

Laura Ingraham has adopted all her kids out of wedlock from foreign countries. What a great nationalist she is.

We do have info/facts. The fire started in the/an attic. Would be hard for an attacker to access & if she/he did, hard to get out w/o getting killed. Let me know when they find a body in the ashes.

And I for one do not think that's right. What's wrong with adopting those in our own country..

Apparently it for raises their "gloat meter, look what I did factor", not to mention the federal funds they MAY get..The two most important words to ANY church is not , the bible, not ten commandments, and not Jesus Christ, it's tax exempt. You get that you have full reign... a glorified "legal but really illegal" pyramid scheme. The higher you are ,the bigger the payday..

As an Architect, I'll have to respectfully disagree about the "it's just an old building" statement. Yes it is old, but religious aspects aside, it has very strong historical significance as a piece of architecture. Structures of that magnitude, built with hardly any of the technologies we have today, the workmanship, the craftsmanship, the hand carved artistry, the symmetry and architectural advancements made at the time it was built all have significance to myself and many in my profession. It's a building that most every architect studies during their education.

Also, I made an argument in another thread yesterday as to how a fire like this could have been started that refuted any sort of criminal or terrorist actions, so I wouldn't be lumped into that group of Trump supporters you seem to think all wish it was an act of terrorism. I don't. I grew up Catholic, I was baptised, had my first communion, and was confirmed. I spent a good part of my childhood as an alter boy. But as an adult, I became a go through the motions catholic and decided to no longer go regularly or give them any more of my money. I'll go for special occasions with my mom when it's important to her, like when she had a mass said in my late father's name or when she did the same for my aunt. So the religious aspect of it all is much less part of my views of the place, there were great pieces of architecture built for many different religions, that doesn't detract from the architectural significance of the building.

Cool that you’re an architect. That was my goal ever since George Costanza was a fake architect on Seinfeld for several years. Sadly, college and me didn’t agree.

I hear you on the historical aspects being lost. At the same time, I see a fire with no deaths or injuries and rank it below any fire or accident that takes a life on the tragedy meter. It sucks, but at the end of the day it’s just not a real “tragedy” to me.

That's all we know.

They are already suggesting that it could have been smoldering for hours. That would give whoever plenty of time to leave undetected.

To dismiss every other cockeyed theory in favor of it has to be an accident is just as ludicrous.

They have averaged 3 church vandalism strikes/day in France since at at least 2017.

If they know it is an accident, tell the details and be done with it.

I have a feeling that we will know as much about the motive of this as we do the Vegas shooting.

Read some good details...

the fire monitoring system is modern and robust, recently updated with tons of fed money. The 24/7 system is monitored around the clock by cathedral security, and a fireman is also on staff. The sprinkler system is dry, allowing fire crews to tap in to the system and apply water that way.

So, monitor goes off at 6:20ish, and nothing was found. 6:46 alarm goes off and the fire is so out of control nothing can be done at that point.

^ Missing a lot of details there, the important part of this story.

RELIGION is not the problem.

PEOPLE are the problem.

Nobody is saying that, All I'm saying ( if your replying to me ) IMO people use religion (churches and so on) for their own personal gain...What a gig, ya show up to this big building every Sunday or whenever, preach what the people want to hear, collect a ton of tax free money, and they pay for you and your expenses to live high on the hog..And if you are poor, throw in the money pan what you got and you will be provided with food, rent and so on, all of which in most cases is donated from an outside source ( tax write off ) to the church who donates it whoever ( another tax write off on the same stuff yet again but different dole out ) and there ya go... Again, what a gig

I'm not replying to anyone: just stating what I believe as fact.
