That would depend on what they were doing. Some fires don’t start immediately. It could have been something left hot from a torch, that smoldered then combusted later. Could have been faulty wiring, Could have been a flicked cigarette. Lots of ways fires can start hours after they’ve left.

Learn probability vs possibility. There has been a wave of church vandalism in the last year. Were those "accidental" vandalisms? You know as well as I do what is going on there. From my understanding, Area 51 is part of the Nevada Test Site where nuclear weapons tests have been conducted. I'm uncertain if Area 51 personnel worked on these types of weapons. Honestly, based on my limited knowledge, Oak Ridge National Lab near Knoxville and Pantex near Amarillo, TX played huge roles in weapons development and assembly.
