I like listening because that is the only way I get to hear much about UK. But it is very easy to see why people think Matt is a jerk.

He is very immature. God forbid you have a point that he has an opinion on, let alone different from his. He will cut you off in a heart beat and try to finish the sentence. I would be half of his callers cannot get their whole point out without him interjecting. He clearly thinks he is the smartest guy in the room.

He criticizes people for having "no joy" in their life if they get upset about politics then goes on a rant about how he cannot believe a thing Trump says. Refuses to acknowledge there can be a different viewpoint. Those people just have no joy when anyone takes offense to his political bombs.

Despite that, KSR is my best option to listen to anything UK related so that outweighs the other stuff.

I said he can be a jerk sometimes. Most of the time I can understand him getting upset or annoyed with some callers.

As far as the smartest guy in the room, more than likely he is. He knows way more than I do and probably you too.

As far as Trump, he IS a Jackass (and I am a Republican). And most of the things Matt disagrees with are usually valid. He does seem to get upset when people have nothing to back their argument and that is some thing that drives me insane as well. And he usually does a good job debating the topic of discussion. Usually he talks me into thinking the way he does with some of his arguments. Not all the time, but that doesn't mean he's a jackass and can't be listened too.

You know nothing of me and you make a lot of assumptions. I could not care less about your political affiliation. If you make a statement about someone which is opinion (Trump is a Jackass) and then tell people they have no right to their opinion, get pissy and then say those people who get upset have no joy that is clearly a sign of immaturity.

My point was simply the guy wants to express his opinion about politics on a sports show and then treat people rudely who disagree and belittle them. I don't care what you think of Trump, I never wrote anything about you, your political beliefs etc.

Jones cannot say something negative and not expect a reaction whether it be Obama or Trump as 50% of the people will disagree. If he feels they have no joy in their life what does it say about him that he needed to say in the first place?

Thanks for the update! Please let us know the next time you decide not to listen to a radio program!

Please advise specifically if you will not listen to Officer Don and DeeAnn tomorrow. TIA!

Matt Jones is a full blown liberal turd. He is not a traditional southern democrat who is conservative on a lot of issues like defense, guns, etc. MJ is all in on nationalized healthcare, green agenda, liberal courts making law, etc. That is far and away from the average Kentuckian.

I still don't understand why people listen to him: look at his resume!

Duke grad
Lawyer
Liberal

Folks, that might be the worst possible combination in the world. The only negative he lacks is to be a card carrying member of ISIS.

Honestly, if I was Duke, I'd pay that loser more to accuse me of something than I would if he tried to extort me.

Is there more of a sure fire way to know you're going to come out on top than having that loser go after you?
Yes, that is my fear. He will not get to first base because of no credibility. He may be 100% correct but when he tried to extort NIKE he screwed up. What a fool this man is.

..Well, about 11:40 I’m driving and decided to flip on 630 to see what Matt and his minions were talking about. I haven’t tried listening to it in quite a while because of his political nonsense.

Low and behold, it wasn’t 30 seconds after turning it on, he’s of course talking politics.

Unbelievable.
His party has had a very, very bad run lately. They have proven to be the party of absolute morons. The next thing you know Matt Jones will try to convince Kentuckians he does not agree with their socialist ways and he is a reasonable man who might even believe in God. LOL. Typical liberal, closet socialist. The truth is not in him.

I bet Ryan and the rest just went along with each word. Lemmings.

Most ignorant thing I've ever heard.

Spot on and very perfectly said. He has finally convinced me that he’s not pretending. He really is that big of a total loser.

President @realDonaldTrump demanded just now that "Russia needs to get out (of Venezuela)."
Not that I want this, but I can see Trump putting troops on the V border in Brazil - I think B would let & join us with the new Prez they have - & threaten to go in in support of Guaido if the Rooskies & Cubans don't get out. This is Trump's first shot. But you can't let the Rooskies build up there. Period.

If he ever does run for political office in Kentucky just think of the 100's of sound bites his opponent will use against him. Remember the Covington Catholic fraud. When that first hit the air he lambasted the poor kid and was as bad as CNN and the rest of the media. He had no facts but since the boy had on a MAGA hat he had to be destroyed and Jones devoted air time to do it. If I lived in Kentucky I would love to hear that sound bite broadcast over the air. Poor Dumb Matt, just parroting untruth like his political party. Complete morons.

He will be held accountable for his idiotic views that are far from a Kentuckian. His liberal education and views will bite him in the ass when he gets in the political arena. I doubt he has the guts to jump in.

I mean you are right. It's totally acceptable to hate a man and his show for believing a different way than you.

This is the type of things that drive me insane. I Really enjoy KSR. Can Matt be a jerk sometimes? Sure. But to dislike his show because he speaks politics is stupid. I am a Republican and 90% of the time I agree with what he has to say when it comes to politics. I feel he is rarely biased and usually makes good points towards his arguments.
Why don't you start a PAC called Republicans for Matt Jones. Call him and beg him to jump into the political arena instead of just popping off on a radio talk show. Tell him to show some guts and run for office. This should be fun.

I barely listen to him anymore. The only times I do is when a friend mentions something he heard on KSR that is interesting to me, I'll pull up the podcast and find that specific thing. I can't stand him, and it's not even because of his politics, I'm not a very political person. His overall personality is very douchey. He thinks he's smarter than everyone and if you don't agree with him you're wrong. Plus his voice is nails on a chalkboard to my ears.

Thing is he blast people for being closed off to others opinions but if someone says something opposite of him he says "I love you but, appreciates the call" and hangs up on them. While I don't want to listen to politics on a sports show it is his show and he can do whatever he wants but the arrogance is something I just can't get past.

He don't mind telling people to quit listening but someday he will wake up and realize those same folks he is running off today helped him start and could be the reason for the end of his sweet deal he has going.

I am sure some will blast me but it's my personal preference. I used to listen daily but his cocky, arrogant attitude just got to be more than I could bear. If you listen and enjoy then I am happy for you it just isn't something I care to do anymore.

It’s not taking long at all for foxnews to go hyper liberal . They got sold a couple weeks back

How are they going liberal?

In the morning:
Fox and Friends

Evening lineup:
The Five
Bret Baier
Martha MacCallum

Primetime lineup:
Tucker
Hannity
Ingraham

Sure they have Shep Smith and others scattered around during the day. But all the prime viewing slots are all filled with hardcore conservative shows. Hannity and Ingraham are as far right and biased as Maddow and Lemon are far left and biased.

Meanwhile as the DA's rally, Russia establishes a military presence in Venezuela.
Funny how even when told, posters here care little about Russia sending arms and troops to Venezuela.

KA-BOOM!

Trump tells Russia to get its troops out of Venezuela.

"Russia has to get out," Trump told reporters in the Oval Office, where he met with Guaido's wife, Fabiana Rosales.

The U.S. government believes the Russian troops include special forces and cybersecurity personnel.

Asked how he would make Russian forces leave, Trump said: "We'll see. All options are open."

Next comes bitching about threatening the Russians. Sheesh!
