How THE FU€|< is a person who was convicted of committing voter fraud allowed to be ANYWHERE NEAR this place, much less running it.
I suppose in the same manner that a gubernatorial candidate in Georgia is allowed to be in charge of policing his own election, and in the period running up to the election, purges voter registries of voters likely to vote for his opposition.

You mean voters that didn’t fill out the registration appropriately? Those voters? we
just gonna give a pass on rules and laws?

Because that’s entirely the same thing as a person convicted of voter fraud, for tampering with ballots, in charge of blatant voter fraud happening before our eyes.

The Dems know those votes being counted now wil be ruled against. Not because of suppression, racism or anything else other than the election council in Broward County failed at their job. There are laws in place and they either ignored them or are intentionally misplacing or creating ballots.
They are intentionally creating a hostile environment in this nation by there actions.

No Voter ID law in the last 2 years from the Republican House or Senate. Definitely a missed opportunity.

What better way to sell a new voting system than to let the current corrupt one expose its own filth on a massive scale... What if we let them hang themselves by looking the other way in their hour of desperation, allowing them to fully expose the depths of their means and methods of gerrymandering. And then, what if we somehow knew or could prove those actions, exposing their fraud on the people after the fact, stripping them naked... all that followed up with a new, secure voting system sold on the unprecedented corruption we'd just witnessed.

I also dig the idea that their titles, not the people attached to them, hold all their power and by removing them from those 'elected' titles via exposure and law would be far more impressionable and damning than just voting them out and waiting for them to find new ways to cheat next cycle. Catch them with their hand in the cookie jar and put their names in the paper. Buy a shiny, new lock for the pantry.

Trump's tweet about vote tampering just before the election even seems contrived... We know from repeated past behavior that he doesn't "say" anything about anything unless it's already in the bag in his favor, or it's a reaction after the fact.

Hell, man can dream, right?

Anyone with even a quarter of a brain knows what is going on in FL and likely in Arizona right now is corrupt as hell. Its goes on everywhere but there are areas in the country it runs rampant and S FL is notorious for it.

How these people are still in their positions to control the elections down there is an utter failure on law enforcement's part. They bear a lot of blame because folks should be going to prison for this stuff and yet they continue to stay in their positions and continue to rig elections.

The amount of voter fraud that goes on in this country would floor folks. Something has to be done to negate it as much as possible, but we all know there will always be ways to corrupt the system. Republicans have a hand in it, but Dems are masters at it.

I hope TRump convinces Whitaker to do all kinds of shit for him, he can't legally be acting AG so it will make it much easier for the Dem's to give him a good bitch slapping.

Oh really? only a senate confirmed member of the DoJ or the deputy AG can become acting AG. Whitaker is neither of those. Scotus already ruled against Trump last year on this exact same issue.

I'm sure you are smarter than Clarence Thomas.

I recognize that the “burdens on governmental processes” that the Appointments Clause imposes may “often seem clumsy, inefficient, even unworkable.” INS v. Chadha, 462 U. S. 919, 959 (1983). Granting the President unilateral power to fill vacancies in high offices might contribute to more efficient Government. But the Appointments Clause is not an empty formality. Although the Framers recognized the potential value of leaving the selection of officers to “one man of discernment” rather than to a fractious, multimember body, see The Federalist No. 76, p. 510 (J. Cooke ed., 1961), they also recognized the serious risk for abuse and corruption posed by permitting one person to fill every office in the Government, see id., at 513; 3 J. Story, Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States §1524, p. 376 (1833). The Framers “had lived under a form of government that permitted arbitrary governmental acts to go unchecked,” Chadha, supra, at 959, and they knew that liberty could be preserved only by ensuring that the powers of Government would never be consolidated in one body, see The Federalist No. 51, p. 348. They thus empowered the Senate to confirm principal officers on the view that “the necessity of its co-operation in the business of appointments will be a considerable and salutary restraint upon the conduct of ” the President. The Federalist No. 76, at 514; 3 Story, supra, §1525, at 376–377. We cannot cast aside the separation of powers and the Appointments Clause’s important check on executive power for the sake of administrative convenience or efficiency. See Bowsher v. Synar, 478 U. S. 714, 736 (1986).

Whitaker’s appointment is not unconstitutional. Under the Vacancies Reform Act (1988), "The President can select a senior 'officer or employee' of the same executive agency (DOJ in this case) if that employee served in that agency for at least 90 days during the year preceding the vacancy." Whitaker meets this standard.

He can legally hold this position for up 210 days without Senate confirmation. If he or a new AG haven't been confirmed within 210 days, a waiver can be requested for another 210 days.

Has Platinum ever been right about anything?

A case in 1844 settled the interpretation of an amendment ratified in 1868. False.
Two counties in Florida refusing to abide by election laws is totally legal. False.
An interim AG can't be named to replace Sessions. False.

These are objective, easily verifiable things. I know I've said this before, but what strikes me as the most fringy of his lunatic behavior, is he posts these lies on the internet, where every single person has the ability to prove him wrong.

He's either mentally retarded, or mentally unstable. Really no other option.

Yeah these Republicans cheat so much in the election. How many dead people voted for Abrams?

No.

The Federal Vacancies Reform Act of 1998

§3345. Acting officer

(3) the President (and only the President) may direct an officer or employee of such Executive agency to perform the functions and duties of the vacant office temporarily in an acting capacity, subject to the time limitations of section 3346, if

"(A) during the 365-day period preceding the date of death, resignation, or beginning of inability to serve of the applicable officer, the officer or employee served in a position in such agency for not less than 90 days.

§3346 Time
limitation

"(1) for no longer than 210 days beginning on the date the vacancy occurs; or

"(b) (1) If the first nomination for the office is rejected by the Senate, withdrawn, or returned to the President by the Senate, the person may continue to serve as the acting officer for no more than 210 days after the date of such rejection, withdrawal, or return.

If you still can’t see how evil Democrats are, you’re a fool.

These people will do anything and justify everything. Look at what they have done to media and academia and social media. Look at what they do in the streets with violence and chaos. Look at the voter fraud. Look at their war on cops and ICE and their refusal to abide by the law. We are in a war where one side is still not fully aware to what their enemy does and is capable of.
I fear the only way this stops is a civil war meaning people will die, the strongest will prevail and the Constitution will prevail and things will get back to near normal.

You cannot coexist with the current state of Democrats (amazing coincidence considering their history). It’s like trying to mix Communism and the Constitution. It cannot work. We do not have the same values and the only way to resolve that is to either split or fight. That’s it.

Obviously, the scale is different. But as someone who signs other peoples' tax returns, I'm required by the IRS to have a PTIN. It's a unique identifier, and I can log into the IRS' website and see how many tax returns have been filed under my PTIN.

The IRS is about as far behind the times as you possibly can be.

Point being, why not give everyone a unique voter ID number. You vote online, and can log in to see how your vote actually registered. Totals can be public, but only each unique person can view their own vote.

Have an independent firm audit the technology, and keep a record so the election results can be audited.

I love him too and I love Texas. But as you know you have to be cautious as you invite people into your state. When I was born Florida had maybe 3 million in residents. It was about the size of Kentucky's population. Today we have well in excess of 20,000,000 that we know of. Plus we have millions in the state every day as tourists. A once conservative state is now at the verge of being a liberal state in voting. Smaller counties keep the balance in the state legislature but those areas are growing so fast that is changing too. About half of our electorate voted for a man who is running on a socialist platform. He is to the left of Bernie Sanders if you can be left of him. As more liberals flock down here it is going to be hard to overcome.

Stay strong Texas

This is how our forefathers felt. The is also the reason we have a 2nd amendment. Not to give us the right to shoot ducks but to protect us from a hostile government. Take Trump out of office and we are a hostile government. He is standing tall but he will be here for only 6 more years. We need to find someone who can carry on his mission after he exits the stage
