Fifteen years ago today, we lost "The Lion of the Senate" Ted Kennedy.

Pernod Ricard (who manufactures Chivas Regal) will toll the bells in honor, and sadness for their patron saint.

I always thought, that that was such a Kennedyesque "thing", for him to pound Chivas. Because Chivas Regal IS Ted Kennedy; cheap, blended, and no character, in a fancy bottle/suit.

And they've both killed people in cars.

All of them know this but lie to the American people.......while saying the other side is trying to scare you out of the other side of their mouths. They try to scare you while saying the other side is trying to scare you. Classic Demscum: Do, in plain site, what you are accusing others of doing.

Who knows how far it will progress, but it's already started. Meaning the two parties divided along gender lines.

(And I've been preaching about Joe Biden on here for a long time. As have others. I mean, I've provided unimpeachable evidence. Volumes of it, but it doesn't matter. All that matters is No Trump.)

I prefer boxers. The best I ever had was 75 pound female named Maddie. I walked her an hour plus daily and she was stronger than 100 pound German Sheperds I had been around in the military. They always show up on lists of family friendly dogs and also for best protection. I was sitting in a recliner one day and from a standstill she jumped over the back of the chair. Her rear feet landed on my shoulders and her front feet were in my lap. She used to grab something the wife didn't want her to have and stand there and stare at Jan till Jan noticed and when Jan got up, she would run through the doggie door into the back yard as her chase me game was on. The Germans in WW2 used GS as guard dogs as they are very vocal and intimidating aka "Come near my fence and I'll eat you". They used boxers for hunting snipers and black marketeers because they are not so vocal and would be on top of you before you knew they were there.
Like any breed they have some dimwits. My friend had a boxer. Friendly dog and very playful. One day my friend said watch this and placed a paper bag on the ground. The boxer immediately put his head in the bag and walked around the yard with the bag on his head. No attempt to back his head out of the bag. My fried eventually took the bag off of the dog's head. A few minutes later he placed the bag on the ground and dog repeated the action. My friend said the dog will do this all day long. Good fun for two stoners and a dog.

Im always interested to see all the women with kids being so in favor of abortion. I really think the cat ladies bullied them into it and wonder if they actually pull the lever in a different way come election day.

I truly cant recall an issue so emotionally charged where people will literally confront you pushing you to vocally declare and get physical if you are against it. People will legit physically fight you over it and all so they can kill babies at will.

There legitimately needs to be psycho social studies on this stuff. How is it a group of people so vehemently fight for a position so morally and logically grotesque?

you don't think it's treason to try to frame the president of treason in order to illegally remove him from office?
Trump was never accused of treason. He was accused of extortion and abusing his office in the 1st impeachment over the Ukraine. In the 2nd impeachment, he was already out of office and he was accused of trying to overturn a valid election.

Making up stuff that is easily checked is not a good look.

You know what I always wanted? A border collie, and one of those capuchin monkeys, dressed up like a cowboy. I could get high, and watch that monkey ride around on that dog/horse all damn day. LOL

This is the greatest thing ever.

Boxers are known as the clowns of the dog world. Very fun loving, but you MUST insure they get plenty of exercise. You are correct though, dogs are like people in that all dogs of a breed are not the same. They have different personalities and intelligence levels.

Learn to read- here's a transcript from when he was president. He's said it over and over.

He said "we want to raise high skill immigration from 12% to 57%, possibly even higher"

Were you actually under the impression and dumb enough to think he wanted to never let anyone in? What in the joy reid type of info do you take in. I can't wait for this intelligent response. Because you totally are able to find some real owns!

Lolololololololollllllll Lolololololololollllllll Lolololololololollllllll Lolololololololollllllllololololollolololololololololllolololololololololololololololololololololol

Fellas we got a "he told us to pour bleach in our ass during covid" type guy here.

Whats your next brilliant gotcha? Oh here's one, "trump said he cut taxes but there's still taxes, what does the board have to say about that" heehaw
This is the dearth of intelligence we are dealing with among Libs.

We have Trump on record over and over again on any given policy position.

Libs: “He’s lying! He’s Hitler! He will end democracy!”

We have a LENGTHY record of videos, interviews, and sound bites which illustrate Kamala’s political ideology and positions… and no willingness by her to answer any questions now as she is a major party nominee for President.

Libs: You should ignore all of that. Her positions and views have evolved.

Gotta be a parody account ran by a conservative in this thread.

You all don't think that the liberals that are freaking out about that months old story re: RFK Jr. dumping a bear in Central Park, think he was talking about a large, hairy, gay man do you? That would explain the angst.
You’d think people would wise up with what the left does to everyone they now deem a threat but nope, these people remain stupid.

The left loved Trump and loved Vance until they were Republican politicians then they became the worst people ever. “Here comes all of the new allegations that never existed before we needed to win elections!”

You know how many leftists told me to read Hillbilly Elegy the moment they knew where I was from? 😂 A very far left professor of mine even messaged me on social media to tell me to read this book. This guy was beloved and got a movie. But now? Oh he’s “weird” and blah blah blah.

RFK Jr is now the worst ever too!

That website is such bunk. It tracks things like when Trumpie says, "greatest economy ever" as multiple "lies". The website is gay just as the people who quote it.
Liberals don’t care about facts when it comes to Trump. They just want to hear every bad thing possible about him and they will accept anything they hear as truth. TDS is way more real than climate change.

We can't secure the border and fetanyl comes in by the tons, but the government is trying to protect you. The Transportation Security Administration wants to remind you...no peanut butter. Nice try terrorists.

Liquids are sold by volume. Solids by weight. Look at a peanut butter label for contents amount. It ain't FL. Oz.

It warms my heart that people still play bridge. I grew up around it. My Mom was in 3 different women's clubs, and she and my father were in a couple's bridge club. It's a shame it's dying out. Takes too much time and effort for younger folks. Not that hard to learn the basics, hard as f*** to get good at it.

So ignore all the data and only take into the account recent polls? LOL.
So you believe a poll from last Feb. or April or June you like over/equally to one in August by the same company? I mean people never ever change their opinions/views. LOL is right.

RFK should open the eyes of any working man Dem to the fact, FACT, that the Dem party is not the Dem party of their father. It is moved so far left that it is simply the American Socialist party.

It is a party of the elite and their Luxury Beliefs. It does not represent the working-class. That fact is becoming known and eyes are being opened.

Have one in our bridge club here on a 3 years work assignment. Good guy. His daughter just did her PhD dissertation in France in some technical area. Warsaw is very modern - has to be after what the Nazis & Soviets did to it.
Are you and you club building bridges as your work assignment?

Takes too much time and effort just to get competent. Not that hard to learn the basics, hard as f*** to get good at it.
Yours is a true statement. Club duplicate games are an order of magnitude more complicated than social bridge and require another level of competency. A fun aspect is you can go to tournaments and compete (poorly) against the great players in the world like Jeff Meckstroth & Eric Rodwell. They make big money between international tournaments & flunky partners that pay them - like me if I cared to do so. I play against a guy that pays a moderate pro several $K to be his partner during a week long tourney. The toughest games are outside the control of national & international organizations that are played for high stakes. Our NKy club has dwindled in the last 5-10 years from around 40 tables per week to around 25. We've lost five players in the last year, one just 4 days ago. There's an effort to get clubs going in schools, but it's up against mesmerizing tech video games. Asians in particular seem to be the spark for the game currently.

I'm GLAD that lawmaking is not his cup of tea. We have more than we need. Trump doesn't actually give two sh*ts about abortion. He is not an ideologue. I DO think he holds a grudge against the Democrats, but that is of their own making. I DON'T think he would sign a National Abortion Ban. Besides, the Supreme Court has said, that is not for the Federal government to decide.

People that care about abortion need to turn their efforts toward their state governments. I'm pro choice (up until a fetus is viable, whenever that is) and I would vote that way.
You need to stop with this 'SCOTUS took abortion away from the feds' thing. No it absolutely did not. You've been corrected multiple times, by posters on both sides of the aisle. You're just flat wrong. Both sides have proposed federal abortion legislation and there's nothing in Dobbs that would preclude those in any way.
Everything I do is on purpose. LOL
Then quit failing so hard.

He's a very very interesting, deep man. (He clearly didn't get to the part where Malcolm trashes Democrats for their soft racism, and in essence said, they were the new plantation owners.)
Liberals. From a leftist perspective. All talk and no action. MLK felt similarly, excerpt from Letter from a Birmingham Jail:

"First, I must confess that over the past few years I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season." Shallow understanding from people of good will is more frustrating than absolute misunderstanding from people of ill will. Lukewarm acceptance is much more bewildering than outright rejection.

I had hoped that the white moderate would understand that law and order exist for the purpose of establishing justice and that when they fan in this purpose they become the dangerously structured dams that block the flow of social progress. I had hoped that the white moderate would understand that the present tension in the South is a necessary phase of the transition from an obnoxious negative peace, in which the Negro passively accepted his unjust plight, to a substantive and positive peace, in which all men will respect the dignity and worth of human personality. Actually, we who engage in nonviolent direct action are not the creators of tension. We merely bring to the surface the hidden tension that is already alive. We bring it out in the open, where it can be seen and dealt with. Like a boil that can never be cured so long as it is covered up but must be opened with an its ugliness to the natural medicines of air and light, injustice must be exposed, with all the tension its exposure creates, to the light of human conscience and the air of national opinion before it can be cured."

Socialists always eventually arrive at the inescapable problem of the moderate status quo defender. The conservative true enemies are only part of the problem. They are dwarfed by those who just want 'cheap gas and goods' and don't care how we get them.
