This election season has been so insane. Ignoring that Kamala had a former prostitute who used to drug and rob men, campaigning for her, we’ve had
- Two assassination attempts
- Crooked courts trying to imprison opponent
- Sitting President calling half the population “garbage.”
- President not seeking re-election and then never giving an official reason why.
- Candidate being chosen despite zero votes
- Hurricanes a month before the election
What else am I forgetting?

I've reached the point where I think there needs to be separate elections for Federal office, and that uniform voting standards should be adopted nationally, with Federal voting laws governing them. And I HATE the Federal government, so you know how difficult it is for me to propose this.
IF, & I oppose, you had a popular vote Prez election, you'd have to have the same voting system everywhere. Not different poll open times, not different mail in or early voting times, same voter citizenship & ID, same paper ballots or machines, etc. Otherwise, those with more liberal voting systems would gain a voting numbers advantage.

Dion mentioned a weighted system that makes much more sense to me. Instead of a winner takes all electoral college.... a weighted system. For example, if Ky votes 60 percent Trump and 40 percent Harris.... Trump would get 4.8 electoral votes instead of 8 as he would now.
That system would still give power to smaller states but would also allow the minority party a say in the election as well. Right now my vote basically goes into the dumpster in Ky.

If they’re not cheating, why are they registering illegals to vote? Why are they fighting to have ineligible voters taken off the voter rolls? Why do they fight so hard against voter ID? And maybe, just maybe, if one of those “glitches” that always seem to favor democrats, go in favor of the republicans, we might not believe they are cheating.
Depends on if the money is allowed to follow homeschool children. The wording of the amendment is so vague, it opens the door for it. KY has one of the most lax homeschool policies in the country. Imagine families of 4-6 kids finding out they can get 5K per kid to put them on a computer program at home with little to no accountability. Add that to their food stamps and other checks and they’re making more than they’ve ever had. If you live in a city and your child has no learning disabilities, then Amendment #2 is a great thing. If you live in a rural area, it’s going to hurt the kids and schools.
