Really believe this country dodged a bullet yesterday (excuse the pun). If Trump is dead today, there'd be lots of conflicts today, and I'm not sure how we'd be able to come back from that. And I feel the same way if was Biden. Each side is seemingly on the brink, waiting for a final transgression to take action. I can't say I blame either side for feeling this way, even if I strongly put myself into one of those sides.

When you all call for SS failure, I agree that the layout and people not present are guilty of some negligence failure.
However, assuming those roofs weren’t scanned and reviewed is a stretch especially considering eyewitnesses stated they saw him climb up and over the rooftops 4-7 minutes into the speech so it isn’t as if he was up there the whole time leading up to Trump taking the stage.
There was also seemingly 100+ people over in the shaded area around the trees.
There was even one eye witness who stated right up until just before he started shooting he probably couldn’t be seen by the SS due to the slope of the roof.
So imagine looking out there and not seeing anything on a roof but hearing screams and seeing commotion then rescanning a roof and seeing nothing and then seeing the crowd still causing a commotion…….
Without acknowledging all the people in the field, their commotion and everything going on around that 2 shooters and one spotter are responsible for it’s just impossible to me to blame anything as a failure.
Granted I’m a thankful for what is kind of guy, and what is currently we have the next president still alive. His following growing and growing and those opposed to him looking as if they are losing their grip.
Moving forward the focus should be on no more outside speeches, and a strong consideration to only televised speeches to limit the exposure.
Get this guy to the White House with the house and Senate control and literally wipe this Obama/Clinton stink from our country!

Purely politically speaking, the optics that have formed over the past few weeks are radically contrasting. You have one candidate that appears to be Mr. Magoo or the grandpa on the Simpsons, and you have one candidate that now looks like John Wayne.
