On Spring Break in Florida. Went to throw garbage away in a dumpster. Old guy pulled up next to me in a truck as I'm tossing garbage in the dumpster....He says...."Hey buddy, did you hear Biden's in the hospital???.... He can't stop Putin!!!"

...or you could stop obsessively looking up political tweets which drive your emotional state one way or another. Know what else there's a lot of? Pizza day, Donut day, Cheeseburger day, etc. You can find a calendar that will show everyday being a special "------ day." This thread does this thing where they say the side they've chosen to hate is triggered while also being triggered themselves. I'm all for it though. A few of you let this trans day thing ruin a gorgeous Saturday as you look up tweets about how trans people are demons and other crazy ass shit like that. And I came to this site a couple times today and laughed and laughed. Happy Trans Easter or whatever.
I don't get the whole DAY thing anyway, with the exception of things like Veteran's Day. Those guys gave up their lives (or large parts of it) for something (whether you agree with it or not) The nonsensical parade of "days" cheapens the ones that matter IMO. By the same token, if people want to parade around in unitards and pink cod pieces, who am I to stop them? Just try not to block traffic. The rest of us have places to be.

Coincidentally, I cancelled my trip to Orlando for nephew's wedding. Would have arrived Friday, 29 March at MCO and departed April 1.
