It offends Christians because Easter is one of the sacred holidays that has been observed by Christian’s worldwide since the second century. Christmas and Easter two major holidays that are fixtures on everybodies calendar. It’s a slap in the face for it to be hijacked like that. And it’s really a slap in the face for them to ban religious symbols from the whitehouse ceremony. If a kid wants to paint a cross on an egg he should have that right.
