Natural law and God are one and the same , basically that some things are out of man’s control. If you and I flip a coin choosing heads or tails, one of us will win, if I win and thank God, or if you win and thank physics it’s the same thing. Both were out of our control, it was natural law.
It was a brilliant addition by the Founders, and it’s true, natural law. That some things are out of man’s control, they just are, and rights are one of those things as much as a storm would be, and society doesn’t realize that anymore which leads to tyranny as the govt tries to control more.

I watched a podcast with a Marine who lost his legs on that day at the airport. The real crime isn't just how absolutely piss poor the planning was... The chain of command was so broken that when they had the bomber in the crosshairs, they couldn't get approved to take the shot because nobody knew who was in overall command at the airport. Rank and File Union members aren't buying into that nonsense much anymore. I have to think at some point the tables will turn and the UAW will have to listen to what the rank and file want. THey've already come out and said they aren't yet endorsing Biden. Still won't support Trump yet though either. So there is a bit of a shift starting at least.
Unions haven't done any good for anyone since the last great era of coal mining.
