Worked with a girl whose grandfather served in Europe during WW2. One of 2 things I missed after we split up was talking to him and spending time with him. He surprised me one day with a story he wouldn't tell in front of the ladies. As the allies were marching into Paris after it was liberated, the French ladies were spitting on and throwing nasty sht at the American troops while up ahead they were kissing their Nazi boyfriends goodbye and crying. Both Germans and Americans marched the same direction, but many of the French did NOT want the Americans there.

It was something they never talked about and weren't supposed to while they served.
Parisians aren't really French... they're akin to our modern day US liberal

From the article:

Raquel Evita Saraswati, a Muslim activist who for years has encouraged people to believe that she is a woman of color, including Latina as well as of South Asian and Arab descent, is the [American Friends Service Committee's] chief equity, inclusion, and culture officer, a senior position that gives her access to the files of dozens of the organization's staff and volunteers. But Saraswati, who was born Rachel Elizabeth Seidel, is not a person of color, according to her mother, Carol Perone.
"I call her Rachel," Perone told The Intercept, when reached by telephone. "I don't know why she's doing what she's doing."

As I already said, you don't have a constitutional right to any of that. And yes if you look in Kentucky law they used to not require a photo ID, now they do but they offer a free one. When they added the photo requirement they accompanied it with a free ID or it would've been unconstitutional. Again, I'm not saying anything that isn't common knowledge. Everyone knows about this, that's why it's part of every state's voter ID law. Y'all're contesting basic law for no reason.

Republicans ought to bring 5-10K illegals from the border to Nadler's district in NYC and have the hearings there.
Florida is looking for sanctuary cities to send illegals. The State Legislature has allocated more funds this session to do just that. Nadler's district may be a good place to send the first batch.

I think I will recommend it to my state representative.

NOT. He stated he doesn't care who wins. And nah, I fully understand. You just don't like it.
False. He said if there are drop boxes involved, the election is a sham. Then he said "I don't care who wins". Another way he could have phrased it is, "regardless of who wins". What I don't like is people who cannot read simple words and discern the authors intent. You misunderstood him. I did not misunderstand you.

You choose to tie the sentences together. I choose otherwise.

And since the large majority of elections these days involve drop boxes and/or mail-in ballots, he nearly universally doesn't care who wins even by your interpretation. Forty states have drop boxes. Forty-six have mail in. Go pound salt.

Biden yesterday:

"I think every kid, in every zip code, in every state should have access to every education opportunity possible. I guess, for some, that isn’t the consensus view."

Yet he & his allies do everything they can to restrict educational choices. Above is a great Pub campaign tool.

Your “Workers of the world unite!” schtick gets so tiresome.
Dion is all envy, all greed, all the time.

His commie utopia still has greed. Greed for power and also greed for those obtaining that power living better than everyone else. There always has to be the motivational carrot in either system.

It is a stupid waste of time and energy to be pissed off that someone has more than you. Mind your own plate. How does taking from gazillionaires or even me put more in dion's pocket?

His whole mantra is, as the greatone stated, get-even-with-em-ism. "Those capitalist pigs will finally pay for their crimes, eh comrades?"
This makes me sad. Not everything is a Dem or Rep conspiracy. When a chicken catches the avian flu all of the chickens are culled.

Secondly, this is happening all over the world. Britain, Japan, France, etc.

Covid lockdowns happened all over the world.

Vax mandates happened all over the world.

Western govs called the unvaxxed the debil all over the world.

Vax passports happened all over the world.

Countries let their printing presses go brrrrrr happened all over the world.

Inflation happened all over the world.

The great reset that no one asked for happened all over the world.

^All things that just happened.🤣🤣🤣

What’s sad is that although we have what we have in the USA, Europe went straight from Covid to praying for a mild winter/energy crisis/war without skipping a beat.

It’s all just happening.

Yes. You can’t take it with you when you die. And what wonderful amounts of wealth they’ve created. The majority of America lives paycheck to paycheck.
Of course they / us can’t take it with them / us when we die. Wealthy people should be free to do as they wish with their wealth. I guess I can’t buy into the outrage you’re trying to peddle.

I chose to read it as he intended it to be read. Your argument is baseless since you've adopted the democrat method of assigning your personal meaning to someone else's words. I have reading comprehension on my side. I don't have to pound sand. Wear gloves.

It isn’t about envy it’s about distribution of resources. There’s no reason for so few to have so much while so many have so little. In fact it has warping, deleterious effects on our society. Y’all complain about Bill Gates and the ‘elites’ daily, but somehow don’t connect the issues. If Bill Gates didn’t have a hundred billion dollars neither you nor anyone else would have to care about what he thinks because he wouldn’t be buying influence and power.

What’s the point though? What are you saying they should be free to do with their money when they die? Give it to someone they know who didn’t earn it or work for it. You support them giving it to a select nepotistic few but don’t support it being given to the public at large. Why? Obviously you haven’t given the issue much real thought.

It should be reinvested in the society that allowed that success to flourish. Not hoarded by a handful of elites based on heredity like the noble houses of old.

I didn’t address your posit because it was absurd on its face. We’re talking about the future and what comes next. American capitalism in 2023 is not the end-all be-all of human advancement and it’s unfathomably arrogant and silly to assume so.
Lol, care to comment on the ethnic diversity of the first 20 or so countries on that list?

Dion believes once you reach a certain level of income you need to give 97% of it to the government. They know better than you how to spend your hard-earned wealth.

Lol, care to comment on the ethnic diversity of the first 20 or so countries on that list?
Why does that matter? Are you implying ethnic diversity restricts upward mobility? I thought America was supposedly a unique bastion of mobility and opportunity?

Lol, care to comment on the ethnic diversity of the first 20 or so countries.

immigrants and their children are pushing 30 percent of the US population.

What does that list look like without the constant barrage of bottom feeders.

You cannot immigrate to any bipoc nation on this planet without money or an already existing job.

You think anyone who has a billion dollars actually works hard?
I would assume earning that kind of money takes a certain degree of hard work and initiative…. but I’m sure they didn’t get to a billion sitting around waiting on a UBI check.

I realize that inherited wealth is a difference but that’s on the family. My understanding is that Warren Buffett will leave his children with very little if any money, and that’s his prerogative. He can leave it to his cats for all I care.

This is more of a simplified version of Umberto's list pasted earlier.

If you want you can take from this as well.
The 14 characteristics are:

  1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism
Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.

  2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights
Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.

  3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause
The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.

  4. Supremacy of the Military
Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.

  5. Rampant Sexism
The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Opposition to abortion is high, as is homophobia and anti-gay legislation and national policy.

  6. Controlled Mass Media
Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.

  7. Obsession with National Security
Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.

  8. Religion and Government are Intertwined
Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government's policies or actions.

  9. Corporate Power is Protected
The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.

  10. Labor Power is Suppressed
Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed .

  11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts
Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts is openly attacked, and governments often refuse to fund the arts.

  12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment
Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.

  13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption
Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.

  14. Fraudulent Elections
Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections
1). BLM Fist, gay pride flag, black national
Anthem, DEI pledges. To start with off the top of my head.

2). The US today is softer on crime than ever and if you can name any victims of right wing political persecution, feel free. But when it comes to “looking the other way”, that’s you. There’s no other way you could pretend that 4% of people aren’t committing 50% of violent crime.

3). Are you shitting me with this? Your entire premise is that Republicans are fascists. So you post this point that 100% says that this kind of stereotypical thinking is emblematic of fascism. Did you even read these before posting?

4). We glamorize soldiers, yes. They have more value than nearly anybody else in society for what should be an obvious reason.

5). Abortion is murder. Your list is wrong. See how this works? As for anti-gay laws, be specific. Idiotic arguments about cakes and pro-nouns aren’t anti- anything, except lunacy.

6). Again, you must not have read this before posting. Laughable.

7). Imagine being obsessed with security? If this is a sign of fascism, every nation with a military meets your definition. Again, laughable.

8). Guilty!

9.) Again, you must be 10 years old if you think corporate power in this country is arrayed on the right wing.

10.) Tell me this list was made by communists without saying it. Lol. Did labor unions invade Normandy? Did the AFL-CIO? The men who did that were who you now call white supremacist/fascists. Or has that dawned on you?

11.) This only became true when our intellectuals became idiots who are too afraid to define “woman”. The fact that this happened is the fault of the left. Prove me wrong. Our universities were always points of pride until identity politics was birthed by (guess who?) the left.

12.) People are leaving blue states by the hundreds of thousands because of obsession with crime. By your definition, they’re fascists. That’s how poorly conceived this list is. It’s happening because the police have no power and everyone knows it.

13.) Hunter Biden, et al. You really didn’t read your list.

14.) [laughing]

But wait. Your list left out the brown shirts (Antifa), anti-semitism (Omar, AOC, etc.), the seizure of guns, the demands for obedience and compliance, the nights of broken glass, the elimination of undesirables (selective abortions), the complete rewriting of history, the removal of God from the public square.

I can’t believe I bothered with this, since the game is on and I know none of it will sink into your head. I just can’t believe you posted all that without really thinking about who it actually describes. Edit: now that the game is over I can add this: this list you posted sounds a lot like America in probably 1955. Only a true leftist zealot believes it describes us today.

Ok. Pick one country. Not someone else's list. You. Pick. One. Make a man's decision. Name the country

And it is not just "American capitalism". You have to combine capitalism with limited government, which your side blew out DECADES AGO. The US has been the last combination, and unfortunately, will be.

So you are saying there is more opportunity in Austrailia???? Or Canada?? Really??? Lol. Cmon man...

Phrases that don’t appear in that article, at all: ballot harvesting, mail-in ballots, chain of custody, duplicate ballots, Zuckerbucks, changing of election laws.

Just for any of you that wonder if this article proves the election was legitimate. Just more liberal gaslighting to hide what happened.
Take it to court. Good luck with that because it's all BS imaginary fantasy land. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Out in the real world where most of us live Trump lost and the election was completely valid.
Whiner.
